  The 20th anniversary of this enduring dance anthem by The Chemical Brothers is being celebrated with some new remixes including this one by Chris Lake.The song was originally released on the duo’s fifth studio album, "Push the Button" and ever since it is considered a classic."Galvanize" features a distinct Moroccan Chaabi string sample, alongside vocals from A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip.Although it's not an easy task for someone remixing a classic i think that Lake did a pretty descent remix here.

PAUL KALKBRENNER & STROMAE - QUE CE SOIT CLAIR

 Part of Kalkbrenner's upcoming album titled "The Essence" which is expected on October 10 is this collab between the German dj and Stromae.It combines Kalkbrenner ’s explosive electronica energy with Stromae’s unique musical identity which created an immidiate buzz among the this week's new releases.But despite the talk about i m not really convinced that "Que Ce Soit Clair" has the abillity to penetrate audience music cells for more than few days. There's no hook and no built up which makes it a rather weak effort.

  The 6th studio album by Florence & The Machine will be released on Oct 31st 2025 just in perfect timing when AI/30 interstellar object will be closer to earth hoping there will be no "Everybody Scream". The title song of the album serves as the first single and it was inspired by singer Welch undergoing lifesaving surgery during the "Dance Fever Tour" and starting to look into spiritual mysticism and folk horror understanding the limits of her body and questioning what it means to be "healed".If Welch was on another level till now this song shows that she will overcome her barriers of inspiration and artistic inteligence.

 If this is considered the biggest release of the week then you can imagine what the rest of them are.This is going to be a really tough week for me to choose the songs that you will find here but i ll try to do my best.I don't particular like Cardi B no matter how tricky the lyrics are.The track samples Jay-Z’s legendary "Imaginary Players" from his 1997 "In My Lifetime, Vol. 1".With just over a month out until Cardi B’s anticipated sophomore album arrives "Imaginary Playerz" serves as the bate to make you buy the album if you are a fan or you hear something good in it by mistake.This is the "drama" she is offering but i m not buying it...

 After hearing this one i m pretty sure that you will want more Lana, more remixes, more electronic versions from Del Rey's songs which i m pretty sure that in the future many djs will experiment with."Art Deco" from 2015 album "Honeymoon" gets the electronic treatment by Parov Stelar making her sound like on a production by Daft Punk or The Justice.This is really an "artifact" for music collectors that needs to be kept as a precious treasure.

With K Pop Demon Hunters songs ruling the charts and few things in between but nothing new it's hard to imagine draining new music from the charts although there are some interesting new releases but not on the charts.It's also hard to imagine that Alanis Morissette dueting with Carly Simon in one of her classics could ever be too popular. But this new version especially for the film "My Mother's Wedding"  starring Scarlett Johansson seems to speak to a much mature audience and why not to some of the youngsters.The original composition belongs to Carly Simon , who wrote the music and lyrics for the film "Heartburn" in 1986. The song was later included on the album "Coming Around Again" (1987), and was released as a single in 1986, experiencing huge success. In the United States, it reached No. 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 5 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary , while it became a top-10 hit in countries such as Austria, Ireland, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom.The choice to close the film "My Mother's Wedding"  with a new version of "Coming Around Again" this time as a duet between the original performer Carly Simon and the dynamic Alanis Morissette seems to work not to mention that it's a great song.

ED SHEERAN - A LITTLE MORE

 It's so easy for Ed Sheeran to write songs that even the easiest ones could have an impact among the audience.Now if this wasn't a brand new Ed Sheeran release i would probably gave no attention to the song cause that doesn't impress me much.This is a moving audiovisual portrait of loneliness and self-discovery, starring Rupert Grint best known as Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter film universe.Grint plays a character struggling with inner emptiness, isolation, and a desire for something "a little more" in his life.As for the song "a little more" effort from Sheeran would be nice.

CHAPPELL ROAN - THE SUBWAY

 Chappell Roan has to prove that her last year's success wasn't just a coincidence.The new alternative pop queen apart from "Good Luck Baby" and "Pink Pony Club" doesn't have a really big hit although she had released several singles.That doesn't mean that there is a big audience out there that follows her music and likes her a lot.Her brand new "The Subway" follows March’s "The Giver". After more than a year since she debuted the track she finally release it and it's all about experiencing heartache in New York City.This is a typical Chappell Roan sound and if the world will resonate with "The Subway" is something that we will find out after 2 or 3 days of it's release.
