 If "Hot In December" is considered a Xmas song and one of the new songs in Kylie's 10th wrap edition of her Christmas album then i buy it.In fact this one is way better than the "XMAS" single that is expected to enter the Uk top 10 in the next few days.This is pure pop with not too many things in the music sound like a seasonal single but the lyrics kinda push you in that direction.Hopefully this one too will get the right attention and probably will return again next December.

 In hard times for pop Jade is a pop star in the Uk but stays indoor for now.The release of the deluxe version of her debut solo full-length "That's Showbiz Baby!" - aptly-titled "The Encore" came with some new songs with "Church" being the official single.Depending on how pop sounds today this song is quite an effort for her to return to the churts in the middle of the Christmas pandemic.I will vote for "Church" cause when it comes to pop music the slightly difference in the sound and production can really sound interesting as this one.

As we are getting closer to Xmas less and less new releases by big names will be released cause everybody knows that there's no luck in streaming services or the charts for the next at least 30 days.Still there are some artists like Leon Thomas that next year will probably dominate music since their audience is growing fast."Mutt" after 42 weeks managed to enter the Usa top 10 after a long time struggling to make a difference.And now an offering for a single with Disclosure will expand his fame not only in the Uk (which is waiting for him) but in the dance genre also."Deeper" is a true meeting in the middle for Disclosure and Leon. The brother duo craft a wavy electronic dance cut that features 2-step-inspired drum programming alongside vibey synth work, including a rich, wobbly bass.One of the few interesting new releases this week.

 Classics have always a special appeal to this blogger so whenever i like a remake or remix here we are.This is a take on Toto's 70s era in one of their most iconic songs in my opinion.These three djs are making some pretty good waves right now among the dance download streaming services with by reimagining "Georgy Porgy" not too far from the original version by adding some extra bpms and using some new close to the original vocals.The outcome surely caught my attention and it might caught yours too.After all who says no to a classic tune in a fresh way..

 You may remember her name from many provided vocals in several dance anthems or you may not.Hannah Boleyn is a British singer-songwriter from the Uk and she has collaborated with several electronic music artists including Galantis, John Summit, D.O.D among others.Maybe now it's her chance to make a solo impact since this cover of Massive Attack's "Teardrop" grapped me by the neck the moment i heard it.The 1998 original is a solid classic that never left and never will.Hannah Boleyn besides her awesome vocals is adding a dance twist to this classic that sounds so good that probably makes it one of my favourite new releases this week that will stay in my playlist for quite sometime for sure.

 Multiple charts almost for every major genre are made so there can be considered some songs hits in their field.I really don't agree with that cause real success comes when your song can be sung, dance to or even mumble it.Then there are so many good songs that they really didn't get the chance to reach a wide audience due to how system works.Sometimes all it takes is a tv appearence or going viral on Tik Tok to get this."Fear" is part from NF's third extended play and it does get the Tik Tok viral status in a way. The six-song EP, which features collaborations with mgk and James Arthur makes this a thrilling return for the rapper.If one song has the ability to be played on the radio that would be "Fear" for sure.It deserves to be a hit...

The perfect funeral song was released this week by Lewis Capaldi so if you are in a depress mood i suggest you to skip this post and move to the next one.This one is part of the "Survive" Ep released this week and it's an affecting, piano-led ballad that finds the Scottish singer-songwriter ruminating on mortality in stark, but evocative terms. "The Day That I Die" is about "the lowest he’ve felt in his life" and he admitted he felt "a bit weird putting it out there for people to hear".For now the song is really doing very well in the download section but moving in fast in the festive season i really don't know if it continues this way.

 Assuming the world exists in a thousand years from now "Insomnia" by Faithless will continue to exist and create the same amount of dopamine since day one.There will always be new remixes but till now nothing can overcome the original.Maxi Jazz is already in eternity just as this classic will always be.This new edit by Disclosure has already created some waves but i can't say that exits me just as much as i thought it would.However Disclosure are always big in the Uk and among the dance industry so i treat it with respect and as something you should consider for your playlist.

CHARLI XCX - CHAINS OF LOVE

 Charli XCX seems to be in a rather dark era after releasing her second "Wuthering Heights" single while the trailer for the movie released few hours ago.It seems there are several songs by her in the Ost with "Chains Of Love" sounding something like Tori Amos or Kate Bush meeting Billie Eilish in a cinematic way. The movie has Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as its stars, and Charli's music has been pretty central to its marketing.The song is basically a pop ballad that istead of "House" released few days ago has a lot of potential for a radio play and a chart route that could last for quite sometime.The reason is because it has a simple, strong melody and her vocal communicates a whole lot of human ache even through tons of electronic filters.

 Jonas Blue & Malive's "Edge Of Desire" might not be the most succesful in the charts song (well Malive's is) but definitely is their best song ever.And if we are getting into winter let's not forget that in the southern hemisphere they are getting into summer so this "sunrise mix" of "Edge Of Desire" is something to keep for all summers from now and on.Hopefully this anthem will get a better treatment by radios and social media cause djs already loved it and gave the right attention.Ready to get close to the "edge" one more time?

MILEY CYRUS - DREAM AS ONE (FROM AVATAR FIRE AND ASH)

 Since Miley Cyrus decided to enter the Pandora world then in terms of hype this new ost theme has the potential for an Oscar nominee and a high chart position.Since i m an gen-x-er i have heard glorious movie themes and this one it's just ok.I needed something more epic or maybe my mind doesn't recognize it as one of them.In any case you will be the ones to judge if "Dream As One" as the new original song for the new Avatar movie that is more than three hours to watch is worth playing on repeat.The song will probably be heard at the end titles but if it scores through the movie then it will be a plus.For now the Facebook Sound Fist page is where it can be found but if you want to wait in few hours it will be all over the place.

 In an other decade way back in the past this song would have a better luck in finding it's way to a larger audience. Andy Bell from Erasure is going to release in 12th of December a  4-CD boxset "The Crown Jewels" including this brand new collaboration between Andy Bell and Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley."The Chance Won't Come Again" is a upbeat pop song pretty much close to Erasure's sound that is a trademark in Andy Bell's voice.Andy and Tim both sound good on this track, either when they sing individually or when they sing together.This is something you should keep especially if you are a fan of Erasure...

 Bizarre and haunting the new single Charli XCX released for the soundtrack to director Emerald Fennell’s forthcoming adaptation of "Wuthering Heights". Featuring a lugubrious monologue from the Velvet Underground legend John Cale this is something entirely new, entirely opposite to the sound Charli XCX pushed in her Brat era. Two-thirds of the track’s vocal belongs to Cale's monologue at age 83. It’s powerful, striking ultra bizarre and rather cinematic made for the ost and not for the charts or the radio.

 Joel Corry used to be the Uk hitmaker for a couple of years and then he stepped back while others took the lead.On the other hand Galantis produced a couple of hits and they are always ready to repeat that.With this collaboration and Izzy Bizu on vocals for "Stay A Little Longer" they are aiming for at least a Uk top 40 entry next week.. Izzy Bizu’s voice glides over the arrangement with warmth and urgency, while Galantis injects their trademark bounce and Joel Corry anchors the track with a driving rhythm.This dancefloor anthem might work for all of them and generate a hit record.

HUGEL & SOLTO - JAMAICAN (BAM BAM) (EXTENDED MIX)

 Everybody in dance music knows what Hugel is capable of and his latest single is no exception. "Jamaican (Bam Bam)", created alongside fellow French producer Solto, and it is using a song from 1982 by Sister Nancy that goes by the same title so you can say it's a cover version.This song is a dancehall staple that has influenced generations of artists so both Hugel and Solto transformed the familiar hook into a percussive Afro-house journey.Hypnotic drums, textured basslines, and a contagious groove invites you into a dance mood from the very first beat.The track leans toward more to the underground club scene rather than mainstream EDM but either way djs will weaponize it on the fly.

 Ever since "Who Wants To Live Forever" by Queen was released for the "Highlander" movie till now the chills are the same every single time.Blinding it with the theme for the final season of Stranger Things is the only thing that could add to this hymn.This is a  a haunting reimagined version that blends the original’s orchestral grandeur with eerie synths and retro textures inspired by the hit Netflix series.The result is a chilling yet majestic tribute to timeless love, mortality, and the supernatural atmosphere of Hawkins, Indiana.I don't want to see the first 5 minutes of the first episode that is already out there instead i will play over and over again this one till the official release of this epic series final season.

TAYLOR SWIFT - THE FATE OF OPHELIA (LOUD LUXURY REMIX)

 I don't know if you have noticed but for more than a year now there are less and less dance remixes for the biggest hits around.And with so many new versions of "The Fate Of Ophelia" it is more than obvious that the target is to maintain the sales and the top spot at least till X-mas. This is the seventh variant of the song with Loud Luxury getting a big boost in their career by remixing a Taylor Swift song that is already one of the biggest hits of the year.Surely this dance version will be all over the radio and dj venues for quite sometime if not forever...

 With a global tour that concludes in Abu Dhabi on Dec. 7 Katy Perry is trying to maintain some kind of her early global success with her return with a new single.After her break up with Orlando Bloom "Bandaids" has her reflecting on the end of her relationship.With an impressive video for the song reminiscent of Final Destination she is trying to gain more spotlight cause more views and more streaming means going up the charts.For now i think that "Bandaids" is a very common pop-rock single more noticable for the video and less for the acoustic result.

ANYMA & SOLOMUN - TILL I DIE

 If you are watching the dance scene then you need no introduction.When these two are combined then there's nothing you can do about it but to press the play button to receive the melodic house bliss you need. "Till I Die" is one of the biggest new releases in dance music this week that will probably keep on spinning for quite sometime.Since last year both Anyma and Solomun have been making join events and this one has it's debut during their Ibiza venue.I guess few will deny their impact in dance music with this one...

LABRINTH - WHERE LOVE LIVES

 In the last years John Lewis Christmas advert has been the mark of the seasonal open in the Uk and the songs used in the advert are always hits one way or another. Following in the footsteps of the likes of Ellie Goulding, Lily Allen and Elton John, Labrinth is the voice behind this year's ad, with a cover of Alison Limerick's '90s dance hit "Where Love Lives".But it's the original 1990 version by Limerick that is making this ad so effective using a vinyl record as the main idea for this tv spot.Six years after it's release "Where Love Lives" peaked at number 9 in the Uk charts making this dance anthem iconic.This advert is embedded in British Christmas culture and Labrinth's reimagined version will probably reach high on the Uk charts.

TAME IMPALA - DRACULA

 When he is not creating hits for others Kevin Parker aka Tame Impala follows his own path in music which has always been an alternative way of almost everything.This song was released back in September as the third single from his brand new album "Deadbeat" released 10 days ago."Dracula" brings on some bounce with its disco-like production and although it took some time to digest it in my musical intestine it started growing with it's minimal style.A straight-forward bop, nothing more and nothing less that sneaks slowly like a musical enemy.
