JONAS BROTHERS - NO TIME TO TALK

 Have a nice week soundfisters....

When it comes to trios and brothers Bee Gees is the first name that comes to mind.Jonas Brothers are probably the second and that similarity might led the band to make a connection for their new single. "No Time to Talk" is based on the Bee Gees‘ 1978 #1 hit "Stayin’ Alive". The group says they got the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers’ permission to interpolate the disco classic, which originally appeared on the soundtrack of the 1977 John Travolta film "Saturday Night Fever".This is their the second track from the pop rock band's upcoming studio album and it can be used in several occasions apart from Saturday nights in order to get the groove on.

FOUR TET - INTO DUST (STILL FALLING)

The past haunts music and it will always give inspiration to artists that are making music.A sample of Mazzy Star’s "Into Dust" from 1993 was the driving force for Four Tet to release his brand new single."Into Dust (Still Falling)" showcases Four Tet's ability to transform this melodic sample from the past into a modern club anthem. Hope Sandoval’s voice floats over refreshing percussion and ambient electronic sounds, in a hypnotic yet club dancefloor environment. The release comes on the heels of a celebrated live debut and Grammy nominations in 2025, as well as his highly successful album "Three".One of the best new releases this week if you ask me.

ED SHEERAN - DRIVE

When last year Ed Sheeran was asked when they called him to contribute on the "F1" movie soundtrack he replied that he had the right song called "Drive".What you might don't know is that part of this song is Dave Grohl (on drums) and John Mayer (on guitar) giving the song the right rock mood.So far none of the big names appeared on the soundtrack have received a chart success but everything might change next week when the film starring Brad Pitt will get the screaning. The song will also be a part of Ed Sheeran's brand new album that makes it the fourth song-reason to get it.Ed is as rock as never before.

SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA - WAIT SO LONG

Although Swedish House Mafia are not what they used to be they are still around creating music that many times sounds better in my ears than their EDM reign.Ahead of Swedish House Mafia’s much anticipated return to the main stage at Tomorrowland next month the trio of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello are releasing their first new music of 2025 in the form of "Wait So Long".If there's a new album ahead nobody knows but "Wait So Long" sounds so good since play one in my ears. This is a rather commercial composition that could easily feed all radios and why not become a chart hit. You don't have to wait any longer and add it in your collection.

DISCO LINES & TINASHE - NO BROKE BOYS

It's very common for RnB singers like Tinashe to try the dance music through upcoming dance producers like Disco Lines.Tinashe’s "Nasty (No Broke Boys)" might just be Disco Lines best remix yet. This time, Disco Lines takes Tinashe’s already sultry single and transforms it into a hot girl summer anthem that’s equal parts cheeky, fierce, and addictive. With his signature blend of punchy house beats and playful drops, the remix is instantly recognizable as a Disco Lines production.

MT.JOY & GIGI PEREZ - IN THE MIDDLE

There are several songs that they don't appear on the charts that are too good not to mention.American singer Gigi Perez had a huge impact with the "Sailor Song" that still is making waves in streaming services after all these months. On the other hand Mt.Joy is a band from Philly/LA scored an icebreaker seven years ago with "Silver Lining", but was already spotted before that. The duet of Mt.Joy and miss Perez is a classic in the making. A golden honest folk song with a positive drive, a nice atmosphere and a timeless chorus and part of the album "Hope We Have Fun" by Mt.Joy. Now what makes such a good song being under the radar and not in the frontline is part of how things work in the music industry.Get in touch with this one and feel the bliss...
