Believe it or not her forthcoming debiyt album "Don’t Fuck the DJ" is scheduled for autumn 2027 and this single introduces it.The song also introduces the larger story behind "Don’t Fuck the DJ" a real-life romance that began with a DJ who toured alongside Sophie and ultimately led to marriage. With "Wreck of Me", Sophie turns that personal experience into the opening chapter of an album-length story about passion, risk and life-changing decisions. The new single blends atmospheric pop with electronic percussion and a gradually unfolding, dance-oriented sound.Dramatic, emotionally charged pop statement that sets the stage for Sophie and the Giants’ most personal project yet.An interesting new release this week that stands out among other.
