There are two major releases this week and this is one of them.Tate McRae is a pop icon of our days but what do you want me to say when her brand single "Housewife" sounds too generic in my ears.Depending on her image and her appeal right now in the pop music scene the song will appear high or lower on the charts. The stunning visuals of the video for the song will definitely help the buzz around this new song by Tate but that doesn't change my first impression of the song.On the othe hand "Housewife" is a bold pop statement that challenges traditional ideas of relationships, success and domestic life. Not every listener is entirely convinced about it's worth or not however, with some early fan reviews they are finding the lyrics clichéd despite appreciating the production and distinctive sound. With pop music penetrating my ears for so many decades i was expecting more from this one.
