SKEPTA - CAN'T PLAY MYSELF (A TRIBUTE TO AMY)

 Skepta has paid homage to Amy Winehouse with his new single "Can’t Play Myself (A Tribute To Amy)".The atmospheric house track "Cna't Play Myself" contains vocal samples from Winehouse’s 2007 single "Tears Dry On Their Own", which features on her classic album "Back To Black".Last month saw Winehouse’s friend and collaborator Mark Ronson pay tribute to the late singer on what would have been her 40th birthday.On December 22, 2023  Winehouse’s live band will perform a special London concert in her honour. The gig will be held at Koko in the star’s hometown of Camden Town.

DIZZEE RASCAL & SKEPTA - MONEY RIGHT

Η Βρετανική ραπ ήταν πάντοτε λιγότερη δημοφιλής στον υπόλοιπο πλανήτη εκτός από την ίδια την Βρετανία. Ο Dizze Rascal ήταν από τους βασιλιάδες τα τελευταία χρόνια στην Βρετανία με τον Skepta να έχει πάρει την θέση του τον τελευταίο χρόνο. Η συνεργασία των δυο τους θεωρώ πως θα σκίσει στο "νησί" και είναι από τα πιο εμπορικά του είδους που έχω ακούσει τελευταία. Οι περισσότεροι νέοι ακούνε rap σε τοπικό επίπεδο αλλά και από την διεθνή σκηνή ίσως πολύ περισσότερο από κάποιους άλλους της pop καλλιτέχνες που είναι από τα σημεία των καιρών και της κοινωνικής κατάστασης. Το "Money Right" είναι όλα τα λεφτά...
