I can't get enough of the new Fontaines D.C album easily one of the best albums of the year if not the best. Next week multiple songs from the album will appear on the charts with many of them establishing a very personal relationship with the audience. From this no skip album "Japan" is another favourite from "Dopamine Chamber". Blending dreamy indie pop with acoustic guitar and ethereal synths, the song reveals a softer, more intimate side of the Irish band. With its understated delivery, atmospheric production and unsettling emotional undercurrent, “Japan” is a compelling reminder that Fontaines D.C. can be just as captivating in quiet moments as they are at their most explosive. With a video starring Charlie Heaton, best known for playing Jonathan Byers in Netflix's Stranger Things this song will also chart high next week along with their duet with Rosalia which serves as the promoted single.
