ALOK & AVA MAX - CAR KEYS (TIESTO EXTENDED REMIX)

 I m back soundfisters....

After a week in Berlin the blogger re-opens the doors of music the way you love and the way you used to.From what i ve heard so far there are few things worth listening to concerning the new releases and the Tiesto remix to Alok's "Car Keys" is one of them.Although this should have been a chart hit it never did at least untill now.Alok continues to be underrated in terms of chart hits but he is a star dj in events.Tiesto on the other hand knows exactly what he does with all his productions and remixes.Let's see what happens with this release and how helpful can be for "Car Keys".

WAMDUE PROJECT - KING OF MY CASTLE (PURPLE DISCO MACHINE EXTENDED REMIX)

 A trip for a week at Berlin will keep the blog silent the next days but with ears open. I tried to review most of the new releases and the ones that left behind will be on next Sunday along with all the new ones.Now you know that the 90's are back in every possible way and Purple Disco Machine knows it.The 1997 dance smash "King Of My Castle" by Wamdue Project in the hands of the PDM gets a disco-laden remix.The disco stomp and irresistibly funky bassline to the original, breathing new life into that classic although in my personal opinion is not the best remix Tino Piontek has made.But still he is the king of his disco castle so without further due play the thing...

JAMES ARTHUR - BLINDSIDE

 Finally an uptempo song from James Arthur.The 80's inspired track is all about falling in love with the right person at the wrong time with a killer, top-down driving chorus and another belter of a vocal.This is something differend from James Arthur and not a typical ballad we so much get used by him.That's why "Blindside" has a potential of becoming a hit in the Uk and break the barriers into Europe.He needed that change of sound.Well done!!!

CANNONS - DESIRE

 Ever since i spotted Cannons i bacame a huge fan.The Los Angeles trio is making music in a country that this genre is underrated the last decades.If they lived in the 80's there would be huge stars among artists like The Cars, Toto, Hall & Oates etc.They have released their brand new single, "Desire", taken from their upcoming project, "Heartbeat Highway".The song is absolutely great and wears their signature sound with great vocals and high quality pop as it should be and as i want it.My "Desire" is to see them becoming an international success.They worth it.

 Eminem has just signed a new artist called EZ Mil to his label Shady House.So in order to get the right attention he is featured on his single "Realest".And not only that he disses The Game, Melle Me and Fen Z cause rappers hate one another for various reasons.Now Filipino rapper Ez Mil is the big winner from all this since this brand new release gets all the necessary attention for him to enter the rap music scene with a bang.Now how long will it last is up to see.

LOREEN - TATTOO (TOPIC REMIX)

 Although Eurovision 2023 belongs to the past Loreen's "Tattoo" managed to become a people's choice at the social media.This is the first official remix since it's release and it comes from German producer Topic trying to give the track a new boost and extend it's presence to our ears.It follows the rave recipe that's going viral creating more and more hits all through 2023.You already know the song time to hear it a bit different.

TRAVIS SCOTT & DRAKE - MELTDOWN

 Although i can't relate with many rap songs including this one i can't ignore that this week is owned by Travis Scott since all the songs from his brand new album are considered hits in both sides of the Atlantic.Some of them had huge streaming numbers with "Meltdown" being the one that wins the statistics.Drake is on it and this is the main reason why this is the highest new entry this week on the Uk chart and probably will debut on the number one next Tuesday on Billboard.The song dishes Pusha T and Pharrell and uses a sample from Star Wars Episode IV "A New Hope"."Meltdown" serves as a spiritual successor to “Sisco Mode” an anthem that topped the charts and broke Spotify records.But charts and spotify records mean a shit to me nowdays if songs are not becoming "true" classics.

DOPAMINE & SIGALA - FEEL IT DEEP INSIDE

 You know that i m no good with genres especially the dance ones but this collab between Dopamine and Sigala sounds like a banger to me.Now you may remember that Dopamine had a huge hit as part of the "Weekend" single with Mufasa and Hypeman back in 2021 and never stopped releasing remixes and original dance anthems.Teaming up with hitmaker Sigala boosts the hype of "Feel It Deep Inside" but also the outcome is good enough to vibe all August long and beyond that.

 After the release of the long-circulated loosie "Say Yes to Heaven" by Lana Del Rey here comes an official remix from Tale Of Us electronic wizard Anyma.My personal opinion is that Lana Del Rey should use more the djs and the dance remixes in her songs. After all the dance version of "Summertime Sadness" was a huge success and one of her biggest chart singles.This transformation by Anyma will have a huge recieve without a doubt putting Lana Del Rey once more in the world of dance music that suits her.

DOJA CAT - PAINT THE TOWN RED

 She has been teasing her new single for some days now and it's finally here.Although there is a beef between Doja Cat and her fans cause she doesn't want to call themselves "kittens" Doja throws a modern RnB, rap anthem that uses as a sample the Burt Bacharah classic "Walk On By" that was sung by Dionne Warwick back in 1963.Once again, Doja offers a really good song which has her rapping but is overall more melodic than the previous one.Judging from what i hear this should be a hit uh, uh,uh....despite the fact fans are pissed off with her.

 Swedish House Mafia reunion continues to produce new music with fans expecting a banger from them.Well their brand new single seems to be a huge dance anthem that will be played at least till X-mas since "Ray Of Solar" has the fundamental base of becoming an anthemic dance classic.With an opera intro that creates a beautiful music landscape soon to be followed by a piano breakdown and a huge dancebeat that djs will love to play and radios will put on the heavy rotation.This is the most maistream dance production since their reunion.

BEBE REXHA & DAVID GUETTA - ONE IN A MILLION

 This pair had one of the biggest hits last year with "I m Good" so they try once more with a new release straight out from the recycled David Guetta music library.And i m say this cause the piano chords on this release reminds a lot "When Love Takes Over" by David Guetta and Kelly Rowland 14 years ago."One In A Million" is certainly a piano house anthem with a potential to be a hit but i m not sure if this genre will work when rave from the 90s is really the hot sound of 2023.As for Guetta i m curious what he ll release next week.He is a dance machine...

JAMES BLUNT - BESIDE YOU

 I really can't help it not to tell every time i hear a new song that reminds me of something else.I have to point out that this brand new release by James Blunt reminds a lot "Chase the Sun" by Planet Funk.There i said it and now i can move on to the review.His breezy brand new single "Beside You" is the first single from "Who We Used to Be", the musician's seventh LP, out Oct. 27.If i can predict the future of this song i think that has all the elements to become a radio favourite.Just needs some time so Autumn has a ready steady hit as if from today.I really liked it....

LP - LOVE SONG

 The next week will be dominated by Travis Scott as most of his songs from his new album will enter the charts, some of them in the highest positions.But what people really hear and what makes a song really a hit is duration in every field.There are plenty of songs that didn't really make it to the charts but they are biggest hits from recent number ones.

Now Laura Pergolizzi aka LP is a songstress with many fans mostly in southern Europe.Her songs always draw attention and her brand new single "Love Song" is an energetic rock anthem totally far away from it's title.She is so underrated all these years but this blog will continue to suppert her cause she worths it.
