 Ampersounds is Fred Falke and Zen Freeman a French-English collab between these two formed in 2021.Not the first time here and hopefully not the last but one of the first new releases in 2024.This brand new electronic gem uses a sample by Gwen Guthrie's "Peanut Butter" from 1983 a track produced by Sly & Robbie the legendary duo.A little of French electronic magic and a Stardust taste creates the right enviroment for a fast playlisting it in 2024.A good choice if you ask me to...

NOTHING BUT THIEVES - WELCOME TO THE DCC (FRED FALKE REMIX)

 I never really understood why this awesome track by Nothing But Thieves never became at least a top 20 hit in the Uk.And if you are wondering what DCC stands for is the acronym of "Dead Club City" the name of their brand new album out on May 10th along with their brand new single "Overcome".But when a song like "Welcome To The DCC" is that good it only needs a great remix by someone who has given us brilliant remixes in the past and fits the excitement.And that person is Fred Falke who adds the right electronic 80s synths only to extend my bliss...

AMPERSOUNDS - PERSONAL JESUS

 While we are waiting for the brand new Depeche Mode singles and album there are several releases that are using some of their classics.Alok Sigala and Ellie Goulding in "All By Myself" they used a sample from "Enjoy The Silence" while this duo Ampersounds are making a re edition remix (call it what you want) of their iconic "Personal Jesus". Ampersounds are a collaboration between Fred Falke and Zen Freeman and so far they are making only re editions.They have done "Burning Down The House" by Talking Heads, one for Bronski Beats "Why" and Phil Collins "In The Air Tonight".As it wasn't iconic enough this electronic touch by Ampersounds is currently on repeat in my playlist.Pffff dope dope dope...

ROOSEVELT & NILE RODGERS - PASSION (FRED FALKE EXTENDED REMIX VERSION)

 "Passion" was from the very begging a heavily supported track by Sound Fist first of all because it's a good song second because Roosevelt is very talented and third because Nile Rodgers is in it.This is a song that will not be chosen by pop radios neither will get a chart success.But...it will get a massive remix by the legendary Fred Falke blowing up the passion-meter once and for all.This combination can't be wrong even if they wanted to.

JACK SAVORETTI ft NILE RODGERS - WHO'S HURTING WHO (FRED FALKE REMIX)

 "Europiana" remains one of the best albums of the year and even the singles didn't get the appreciation needed songs like "Who's Hurting Who" will be in my favourite list for the years to come. I can't understan why bad albums like the one Coldplay released or the singles of Coldplay get to know number ones and not the divine Jack Savoretti. Radios even in Greece who love him snobbed his songs from the new album but time will revenge everything. A new remix of "Who's Hurting Who" by the excellent Fred Falke will make your weekend (and not only) so much better...

FRED FALKE - BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE

 Σας είχα γράψει εδώ και 10 μέρες πως το "Save Your Tears" του The Weeknd μετά το remix του με την Ariana Grande θα βρεθεί στην κορυφή του Billboard. Ήταν δίκαιο και έγινε πράξη θα πω εγώ και ταυτόχρονα κάνει και ένα ρεκορ ισοφαρίζοντας την Janet Jackson. Είναι ο μόνος άντρας που έχει 3 νούμερο 1 μέσα από ένα album μέσα σε 3 ημερολογιακά έτη και το έχει καταφέρει μόνο η Janet. Διεκδικητές για το μέλλον θα είναι σίγουρα η Dua Lipa αλλά και ο Masked Wolf ο οποίος πάει σφαίρα πλέον.

Υπάρχουν όμως και κάποια classics που διασκευάζονται κάθε χρονιά και τραβάνε την προσοχή πολλών οπότε με ένα τέτοιο έχουμε να κάνουμε σήμερα.To "Burning Down The House" των Talking Heads θεωρείται από τα πιο εμβληματικά και αναγνωρίσιμα τραγούδια τους.Η electro εκδοχή του από τον Fred Falke είναι νομίζω από τις νέες κυκλοφορίες που πρέπει να ακούσετε...

FRED FALKE & ZEN FREEMAN & TEN VEN ft KELLI-LEIGH - SO GOOD (EXTENDED MIX)

 O Fred Falke μπορεί να μην έχει το hype που είχε πριν από 10 χρόνια αλλά εξακολουθεί να είναι στα μουσικά πράγματα και να φτιάχνει μουσική που δεν προσβάλει κανένα αυτί. Το να μπει στο club των charts είναι βέβαια σχεδόν απίθανο εκτός και αν το hype μέσω κάποιου social media επιτρέψει σε τραγούδια όπως το "So Good" να γίνει ευρύτερα γνωστό. Το Sound Fist πάντως δεν κολλάει μόνο στα charts και παρουσιάζει και άλλα τραγούδια που δεν θα τα μετανιώσεις αν τα βάλεις στα ηχεία σου...

SYNAPSON ft HOLLY - HIDE AWAY ( FRED FALKE REMIX)

To duo από την Γαλλία των Synapson αποτελεί σταθερή αξία για το blog μου αλλά και για όλους όσους θέλουν βάλουν λίγη ποιότητα στο ακουστικό τους πεδίο. Το νέο τους single "Hide Away" δεν αποτελεί εξαίρεση αλλά ο Fred Falke του δίνει ένα εξτρά γκλίτερ το οποίο θα κάνει το lounge dancefloor προκλητικά ενδιαφέρον. Αυτό βέβαια για όσους δεν τροφοδοτούν με βίου βίου τους χορευταράδες γιατί εκεί τόπο δεν θα πιάσει.
