AYRA STARR ft ZAYN - HEAVEN BABY

This is pairing that few could expect. When a collaboration looks completely unexpected on paper, it usually goes one of two ways: a clunky attempt at cross-genre marketing, or absolute magic. On "Heaven Baby," Nigerian sensation Ayra Starr and global R&B crooner ex One Direction ZAYN achieve the latter, delivering one of the most serene and captivating tracks off Starr's third studio album, "Starr Girl"."Heaven Baby" proves that global pop collaborations don't need to be loud to make a lasting impression and this one is a masterclass in cross-genre duets. What makes the record work so well is restraint. Ayra Starr shifts into a lighter head voice, leaning into a vulnerable, almost conversational delivery that shows off her emotional versatility. ZAYN enters naturally, weaving his trademark falsetto into the harmony rather than attempting to dominate the track. After a long journey in the music business for Ayra Starr this song can be her ticket to a wider audience and the charts.

AYRA STARR ft REMA - WHO'S DAT GIRL

I hate to say it but "All I Want For Christmas", "Last Christmas" and all the rest seasonal classics have already appeared in the streaming services keeping new music out of sight but not in this blog. For as long there is new music out there i ll keep "X-Mas" away as much as i can.

The Nigerian superstars Ayra Starr and Rema evoke the sensual and colorful on their first ever collaboration for "Who's Dat Girl" which is making some waves under the radar so far. "Who’s Dat Girl" is a hip-swaggering dancehall heater and it delivers everything fans hoped for chemistry, charisma, and a sound that’s both futuristic and deeply rooted in Afro-R&B groove. What does it take to be lifted from bubbling under? Well you already know how it works...
