HAYDEN JAMES & BOB MOSES - DO YOU WANT ME

 There is a rather odd and oxymoron in today's music among other things.Some singles are selling but they don't get streamed and the opposite.Guess who's winning.The ones that get streaming.And if they get both then here we have the hits of today.Now tomorrow Hot 100 will have a brand new number one as Olivia's Rodrigo brand new single "Vampire" will dethrone one of the most successful singles ever by Morgan Wallen.If you ask me "Vampire" won't stay long at the top as Taylor Swift's new release is already streaming like crazy and because Luke Comb's cover on Tracey Chapman's "Fast Car" is really massive in the Us.

Now for good music that doesn't get streaming or sales this collaboration between Hayden James and Bob Moses is a fine example that nice music exists outside the marketing game in music.And yes there are fans out there who follow good music cause they search for it.

The new K-pop girl power is Newjeans with their viral "New Jeans" single being the first to land on my blog several months back.On July 21 the girls are going to release their Ep "Get Up" and this one is the lead single from the project."Super Shy" with a bubbly, dance centric music video to accompany it is already making waves on the streaming services and has all the elements modern pop requires in order to cause a massive attention.The girls sooner or later are going to explode at the charts and this might be their moment.

 You like horror movies?Then you are probably "Insidious" fans also.Swedish rock and metal band Ghost and actor Patrick Wilson have teamed up to cover Shakespears Sister‘s ‘Stay’ as part of the Insidious: The Red Door soundtrack.The 1992 goth-pop classic is one of my favourite songs from that era and this duet with the "Insidious" actor Patrick Wilson and the Swedish band came out of the blue.Now who can say no to such a cover...

She's done it again.Swift announced "Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)" during the Nashville stop of her Eras Tour in May.Now where she finds time to re-record all her previews albums and touring at the same time is a super power and i credit her.The new version of Swift’s 2010 LP includes Fall Out Boy and Paramore’s Hayley Williams on two other "From the Vault" tracks.But the new track she is promoting with a video is "I Can See You" which will enter the USA top 10 in 10 days from now while her "Cruel Summer" single is rocketing the charts worldwide.So there you go Swifties Taylor can really see you...

 Everybody needs to enjoy life as he pleases away from stereotypes.You can enjoy your life by just listening music or watch a good movie.You don't have to travel or climb mountain Everest because someone suggests it or it's trending unless you want to.In this case one things is for sure.Paul Woolford enjoys making remixes and we enjoy hearing them.Romy's single gets an enjoyable dance remix by one of the best and my playlist just got better.

SKRILLEX & BOYS NOIZE - FINE DAY ANTHEM

Skrillex has reunited with Boys Noize for new single, "Fine Day Anthem".The single lands as the first collaborative music the pair have released together since 2019’s "Turn Off The Lights" EP, and samples Opus III’s classic dance hit, "It’s a Fine Day", released in 1992.It would be breaking news if a song didn't use a sample especially in dance music but i think that we all are used to that.The only curiosity is what comes next from the past and how it will be used.

BECKY HILL & LEWIS THOMPSON - SIDE EFFECTS (SHOUSE EXTENDED REMIX)

 When it comes to dance music in the Uk Becky Hill is one of the first names that comes to mind.Although "Side Effects" made it to the top 40 this song could have done so much better.This collab with Lewis Thompson now gets the remix treatment by a name that not very often make remixes or productions.Australian Shouse made a rather good remix on this one and the dancefloors will be more than ready to recieve it.

PRINCE - 7 (E FLAT VERSION)

 "7 (E Flat Version)" is an unreleased remix of Prince’s song "7", which initially appeared on his "Love Symbol" album. This remix version was recorded on August 9th, 1992 and previewed last month at Paisley Park’s Celebration 2023, where attendees were gifted this track and another unreleased original song "All A Share Together Now" by Prince on special cassette-shaped USB keys. As promised, the two Vault releases are now available to all Prince fans worldwide for the first time, as part of an emerging Prince Vault Series and as a followup to the wonderfully successful Celebration 2023. The Purple One is (not was) unique.

DEPECHE MODE ft KID MOXIE - WAGGING TONGUE (REMIX)

 Who would have thought that a Greek artist would make a duet and a remix with Depeche Mode.I just got my hands on "Wagging Tongue" remix package and the tradition of great remixes on Depeche Mode singles continues.Not one is enough but i ll start with this one cause Kid Moxie's cinematic aspect on the song really gives chills.Few months ago Kid Moxie made a unique cover of  Radiohead's "Creep" for the Greek tv series "Maestro" that streams on Netflix.If you are not familiar with Kid Moxie's music i ll suggest you dig her up.Now what can i say about Depeche Mode who are currently on their European tour with Greek fans still waiting for a "Memento Mori" stop here as soon as possible.Great remix by Kid Moxie and Hristos Lainas aka Franklin on "Waffing Tongue".Free travel ride with electronic's music best.
