Three years after their comeback with "Fuse" Everything But The Girl are going to release their brand new album "Blue Reservoir" on Feb 19 with first single "Young And Dumb". After all these years the duo has the luxury and dare to release as first single something that is totally out of their sounds.Built around delicate Spanish guitar, a gently swaying Latin-inspired rhythm and Thorn’s unmistakable, smoky vocals, the song explores the bittersweet relationship between ageing, memory and the desire to recapture the fearless spirit of youth.Rather than revisiting the electronic textures that defined parts of their later career, the duo embrace acoustic intimacy, subtle percussion and warm, understated arrangements. This is something that is not considered as a commercial comeback but it speaks straight to the hearts of music lovers.
