You have an invitation to a "Dinner Party" with host ex New Direction Niall Horan. He is the only other member apart from Harry Styles who gathers a certain spotlight in music business. His brand new album by the same name will be out on June 5 and the title song that serves as his new single is kinda not bothering cute and easy radio playlisting. In other words this is probably his best single ever since he went solo and a chart appearence in the Uk is most certain if you ask me.Not to mention that if somehow is on repeat it gains more and more cuteness. In a weak week as i mentioned this one sounds ok to pick.
Code name 6EQUJ5 referring to the famous Wow! signal of 1977 an enigmatic radio signal recorded by the Big Ear telescope in Ohio and to this day sparks debate about its origin also signals Muse return with their brand new single "Be With You". "The Wow! Signal" is also the name of the band's brand new album which is expected to be released on June 26th. "Be With You" explore more emotional and experimental forms with a more atmospheric and melancholic sound, different from the intense rock riffs that often characterize Muse. This is the major rock release this week which gathers the most interest for sure.
Since it's Saturday night and for some of you it's time for dance music my pick comes from a duo that served dance music in many forms.Since the mid-90s they’ve been soundtracking dancefloors around the globe with their high energy blends of house, funk, and club anthems.Their latest track is "Love's Theme" and it may not be massive or a gloval dance anthem but it feels so good every time it runs through my speakers.Djs with taste and possible some radios may feel the needed urge to play this as often as it should.
From what i have heard so far this is a weak week concerning the new releases when it comes to the quality and the ability for some of these songs to gain immortality. So don't blame the blogger for what he writes or what he review cause he is picking the most interesting.Right after the new BTS release i see these guys that they used to be in the BTS position back in the late 80s and 90s and in a way this is what is going to happen to the South Korean group also. But if they manage to stay so many decades some of them still making music that will be an achievement.Gary, Howard and Mark have released a brand new song over the end credits of their recent three-part documentary series on Netflix. This choice was no coincidence, as the band wanted to offer an unexpected but pleasant surprise to their fans, connecting their music with a more personal and revealing television narrative."You're A Superstar" will also be part of the band's upcoming album , which will be the first since 2023's "This Life".This is an adult classic pop song by the group that will add more content to their rich catalog.
We have a saying in my country after you finish with your military obligations. It goes "good citizens" so we wish BTS a long and lasting new career in global music industry. The phenomenon is back with their fifth studio album "ARIRANG" featuring 14 tracks with "Swim" being the first single. The huge comeback after 4 years is one of the most anticipated comebacks in music history and as expected from the very first moments all of the songs from the album are trending.I will overlook that what i hear on "Swim" comes from BTS and my feeling is that the song is really nothing special. It has the needed radio play quality but i m not going to "swim" with it this summer. The fact that the song will be number one all over the world next week doesn't change the fact that this is not their best release so far.Sorry guys...
Loreen keeps releasing singles from her upcoming album and "Coming Close" is the latest treat. The song was teased and performed during her 2025 tour so some of you may be familiar with the sound which is a typical Loreen sound. This and the already known songs will be your reasons (if they are good enough) to buy her new album but once more this is not a strong reason to win radios or become a chart hit.It takes more than a typical effort or maybe an event like the upcoming Eurovision to convince media to play a weak or moderate if you wish song.Unless you are a big fan...
Another single from Raye that will fail the charts. This one is even difficult to be played on the radio after "Nightnigale Lane" but this the cost when you are trying to make art.But when you have German mega film composer Hans Zimmer on your single a big "wow" is coming right out of your mouth."The Lion King", "Gladiator", "Dune", "Interstellar" are only few of the film scores we are all familiar with and making pop music was his early career since he was a member along with Trevor Horn of the group Buggles who released the classic "Video Killed The Radio Star"!!!I don't think i want to write anything more for "Click Clack Symphony" and let's just hope it won't contain any more experimental stuff from Raye.
New kid on the blog since London-born singer and actress Aiyana-Lee, is currently making some waves in the music scene with "Housebroken".Her music fuses vintage soul with modern fire, equal parts vulnerability and command. Over the past few months, her world has shifted fast: An Oscar-Shortlisted Song, A starring role in a Spike Lee directed film alongside Denzel Washington, and a wave of international rress including Billboard, Rolling Stone, TIME, The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, And Vogue, alongside public praise from legends like Elton John.Need more on how talented this girl is or you need to listen to "Housebroken" first?Get ready for her cause a star is born...
With country music and Ella Langley ruling the Hot 100 in the USA not easily i m pursued to blog a country song unless it has something unique.Since Rag N Bone Man hadn't heard a baritone voice like this guy here.Tik Tok is the reason for the spread of "When I Stand" due to the lyrics and his captivating voice.Once again nobody really knows who this guy is and if the song as expected fly high in both sides of the Atlantic for start then probably we will know more about this "beast".The song has a beautiful melody with the simplicity and the powerful lyrics forcing you to keep listening all through till it ends and then repeat it again. Some songs have this magical thing....
There are several new female voices that emerging through the Uk charts to xonquer the world pretty soon.Last year Olivia Dean dominated the music industry and this year we have already names like Bella Kay which is probably going to have her first number one single with "Iloveitiloveitiloveit". Sienna Spiro a hybrid between Adele and Lana Del Rey is ready to dominate the charts and the hearts that started with "Die On This Hill" and will expand with her brand new single."The Visitor" not only going to be the highest new entry next week on the Uk chart but it also mark her first ever US tour which is already sold out. This piano ballad is what best describes her music and probably will be memorized in decades to come.
Another artist who is worth listening to cause every song she releases has a special magic in it is Charlotte Cardin. The Canadian singer-songwriter released her brand new single called "The Way We Touch" a song that blends pop, alternative pop, and soul pop into a vibrant track that is playful, powerful, and driven by dark, sensual tension. This is one of the few songs that uses saxophone an instrument that once was present in many great songs and this is a plus for me.Real instruments can make a lot of difference and "The Way We Touch" touches you in a special way.
Angele is one of the biggest names in music in her country Belgium with international edges.French electronic duo Justice, known for their imposing and often dark sound, collabs with Angele’s more pop, melodic side, in a track that attempts to balance sensuality and intensity."What You Want" is full of neon synthesizers that create a nocturnal, almost cinematic atmosphere. The song seems to be built on an idea of seduction and mystery, with Angele moving vocally in lower, hypnotic tones. This synth pop release is already causing a lot of attention both Belgium and France with Angele going stronger with each release.
It's funny how lyrics may sound in different languages and in this case the intro of Argy's "Papito" means a lot in Greek. In fact pa paparty sounds like one the the hidden balls men are hiding in their briefs and that caused a viral frenzy in my country.Cause the fact is that not only here but everywhere we are dealing with "balls" one way or another."Papito" with Joshlane on vocals is part of the next chapter of NEWWORLD movement, an evolved phase that expands the vision and draws listeners deeper into a universe that is no longer just heard, but entered. This without a doubt will be one of the hottest dance tracks this summer and if the "viral thing" works it will expand it's ability to put people into the needed dance mood.Greeks do it better...
Jonas Blue with "Edge Of Desire" made after a long time one of the biggest dance hits of 2025.Today electronic music heavyweight Jonas Blue returns with his first release of the year, unveiling a bold reimagining of "Madan" the cult-classic originally performed by the legendary Salif Keïta. He was just 12 years old in a London record shop, where the iconic remix by Martin Solveig left a lasting impression and became a formative influence during his early years exploring dance music. His next phase that started with "Edge Of Desire" continues with a widely known vibe from Keita adjusted in Jonas Blue new dance trademark. With "Madan" Jonas Blue delivers more than just a remix. He offers a cross-generational conversation between past and present, reintroducing a timeless piece of musical history to a new generation of listeners.
Lykke Li's return last month with "Lucky Again" gave us one of the best singles of 2026 so far but was totally ignored to my surprise. That was a "Knife To The Heart" when i see good music going to waste without a really good reason. The sad thing is that her upcoming album "The Afterparty" will be her last one according to her representatives. Her new song from indie pop fixture is a waterfall of whistles, claps, bongoes, and sprawling EBow textures. It's lush and anthemic.Once again this one will be added to my playlist and i think you should do the same if you want your daily soundtrack is worth listening to.
Am i the only one that hears the electronic bassline of "The Robots" by Kraftwerk in this new release by Robyn? "Blow My Mind" the fourth single on her new album, "Sexistential", is an electro-funk remake of her original 2002 love song of the same name. Rewritten and re-recorded, the song’s new lyrics are all about her three-year-old son.The new album which is only two weeks away is expected to offer a variety of sounds that combine electronic pop, funk and personal narrative elements, highlighting Robyn ’s unique artistic identity. This is another great reason to get her new album which expected to be one of the highlights this year.
Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts AKA Pussycat Dolls are back!!!Since their sound kinda came back after Tate McRae's "Sport Car" the middle age dolls are reunited and released "Club Song" as their brand new single."Don't bring your boyfriend to the club," Nicole, Kimberly and Ashley instruct in harmony as the track kicks in with a sound that is exactly what you expected to be from the pussycats.Immediately, we're transported back into breathy "Don't Cha" territory which is brought straight into the 2026 pop landscape. The comeback will cause quite a buzz for a few days but i m curious if this is enough for a 40 years old female group to connect with younger audiences.Cougars are on the loose...
We have already plenty of reasons to buy the new Jack Savoretti new album. And the main reason remains the fact that true musicians have a special way to reach our souls with true music with true instruments. Here is another one....."I Hear You Calling" is another Savoretti gem, a pop-oriented song that will surely be one of his many highlights on his live shows. "We Will Always Be The Way We Were" out April 10th contains thirteen tracks, and Savoretti once again collaborated with his regular band.I really love this guy...
Steve Carrell's new HBO college dramedy "The Rooster" can be praised cause the theme song brings back REM's frontman Michael Stipe with a brand new song that is actually awesome.Along with mucisian and producer Andrew Watt a three-time Grammy Award winner they released "I Played The Fool" while Blink-182's Travis Barker is on drums and former Red Hot Chili Pepper Josh Klinghoffer on guitar. Stipe’s unmistakable vocals are paired with Watt’s bold contemporary production and the result is a super radio friendly outcome that few decades ago would be a huge hit. There are some rumours that Stipe is secretely recording a solo album and they better be true cause music needs Michael Stipe in action either way.
Hugel is ready for the summer are you? With multiple new releases almost every week Hugel will be on the decks of the biggest clubs of the world either way.His musical armory is full with some more expected over the next weeks. His latest single lands as another club-ready entry in Hugel’s growing catalog of Latin-leaning house records."Party Started" is bringing together a dynamic group of collaborators including Ochok, Jenn Morel, KAYA, and French Caviar. Built around punchy percussion and a rolling bassline, while the rhythm section carries the momentum, and the vocal contributions from Jenn Morel and KAYA inject the record with attitude and personality. The rhythm of this song makes it especially effective for club play and without a doubt will be one the most played this summer.
James Hype is undoubtedly one of the biggest djs and dance producers in the world. His new single in direct contrast to the frenetic image that James Hype projects behind the decks, this one is a story of patience and intent. "Be Mine" fuses driving club synths with hands-in-the-air melodies and the hook that cements the track’s anthemic sound. It’s a record that reflects Hype’s precision-led production style and technical command behind the decks, combining sharp transitions, energy, and undeniable club impact in a way that has become central to his global appeal. One of this week's hot new dance releases.
Due to Harry Styles new album at least 2 singles from his new album will be present at Uk's top 10 with "American Girls" aiming for the number one spot. But things are tight with Bella Key and Olivia Dean having strong posibillities to stop him. On the other hand there are multiple new releases this week with this one being a surprise after all these years.
When he first went to Ibiza he took a pill and lived a wild party cause being young is part of doing lot's of crazy stuff. But as life moves on things change and in 2026 Mike Posner re-creates his smash hit into "I Went Back In Ibiza" but in a mature way. Instead of the laidback electornic vibe of the original, Posner’s new track is layered over an acoustic guitar, light drum kit, and some external players on the keys and harmonica. Throughout, he sings about his own rise to fame and personal demons, revealing how he almost died twice, but ‘I’m here for a reason.’ He also keeps Avicii’s name in the lyrics, mourning the loss of the iconic producer as a sign of how things have changed. Instead of chasing the lifestyle, he is poised towards a peaceful life outside of the spotlight. It is a powerful and somber response to his earlier hit, but it speaks to the honesty and integrity that helped Mike Posner first connect with so many fans a decade ago.
The reason ANOTR are considered one of the finest acts right now is dance music is because they focus on live instrumentation and a more human feel in their productions.Featuring New Jersey artist 54 Ultra the Amsterdam-based duo ANOTR have released their brand new single "Talk To You" a single that blends timeless influences with contemporary house production. The song creates a nostalgic electro-disco tone, combining funk guitar riffs, syncopated synth stabs, and reverb-soaked vocals across ANOTR’s polished house framework. No doubt this is one of the best dance productions this month.
This is one of the rare times Depeche Mode are making a cover and this one is for the needs of charity compilation "HELP(2)" by War Child Records."Universal Soldier" is a song written by singer-songwriter Buffy Sainte-Marie who is best known for the Academy Award-winning song "Up Where We Belong" . The first released recording was a single by The Highwaymen, released in September 1963.The song was also released on Sainte-Marie's debut album It's My Way!, in April 1964. "Universal Soldier" was not an immediate popular hit at the time of its release, but it did garner attention within the contemporary folk music community. It became a hit in 1965 when Donovan covered it on his EP of the same name, also charting for Glen Campbell that same year. Dave Gahan and Martin Gore have transformed this folk song into a dark, electrified menace. Their version bristles with rattling chains, chilling synth pads, and a heavy, deliberate beat, anchored by Gahan’s unmistakable voice. If you are a fan of Depeche Mode this one is for keep and if you are not you might become one.
If something was extrordinary at this year's Brits was Rosalia's live appearence. The Spanish singer-songwriter gave "Berghain" from her critical acclaimed as one of the best 2025 albums album "LUX" a special techno version that blew everyone's mind. This opera-techno blending is so trending lately that created a genre many will follow this year."Berghain (Remix)" is not just an extension of the original track, but an aggressive reinterpretation that transports the chaos of the Berlin dance floor directly into the DNA of trap and industrial electronica. Under Conrad Taylor 's vision , it moves away from the conventional structures of the commercial remix to embrace a dark and metallic sound, where saturated bass and sharp synthesizers recreate that atmosphere of a hermetic and hedonistic club. This is really a pioneer effort that stuns everyone.
When you are using such an iconic song then probably it's power can start a "New Religion".After all the power of music has that kind of power and Bebe Rexha is using it with all it's glory since the original creators Faithless are on board. This is not the first time they have a collaboration since last year they released "Dollars & Dimes" together. Her brand new vocals on "Insomnia" in a very clever way is what makes this combination an easy hit alert that can lead to a global success. Her new album in three years has already a banger that can make it's way through all summer and beyond that.
One of the most anticipated new album of the year "Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally" by Harry Styles is in my ears and without knowing what the second single will be i choose this one as an obvious choice. The album has it's moments with at least 4 potential hits in it while "Aperture" after it's live performance at the Brits has an upgraded course."American Girls" is a mid tempo radio friendly jam that needs to be released as a single before his American leg of his upcoming tour. Thank god the album doesn't have many experimental sounds like "Aperture" which means it will be once more one of the most succesful albums of the year.Harry is back...
Who's gonna save Jennifer Lopez career? The answer is simple and the name is David Guetta...Since the release of "On The Floor" Lopez never ever released such a commercial single such as this one.But times are not in pop dance favour and what it looks like it would be a global anthem once upon a time it's not a sure thing today.Take for example Guetta's "Gone Gone Gone" which never became a top 10 hit although is all over pop radios.Even so "Save Me Tonight" may have the same fate and god knows how refreshing that will be for JLO.The sound is typical Guetta the song is easily sing along and summer is sooner that you think.Guetta saves Lopez...
And just like that old released songs like "Stateside" by PinkPantheress after quite sometime they become worldwide hits when nobody really expected to.But there are some more outsiders like Dominic Fike who should have a big hit with "Babydoll" which suddenly returns after more than 6 years making a second try in the UK.But not just that one."White Keys" a softer and more pop-forward song re-released after it's 2025 first entry is making it's way to the Uk top 40 expanding Fike's audience and fame.Artists like him have a special appeal lately and crossing the line to super star mucisians is just as thin as just one song.
"Pump Up The Jam" by Technotronic needs no introduction cause if you don't know the unmatchable vibe from the late 80s you are probably from another planet. When a dance anthem remains just as fresh and shiny as it is in it's original form doesn't need any update. But it happens very often over the decades and the latest one is by US dj and producer Esse that made a tech-house version that is currently at the top dj choices this month."Make My Day" will probably make all djs happy this summer as one of the top dance weapons that will make you jumping once again.
Each year Uk dance music has it's favourites and Sonny Fodera just as well as Chrystal have the potential to create top 40 hits as they trending with each release they make."My Loving" is the first new piece of original music issued by the Adelaide-born, London-based artist this year.Featuring English singer Chrystal on vocals, it’s a feel-good piece of work that adopts a slick beat and a powerful drop to continue Fodera’s impressive run of success in recent months. This is probably going to swarm dance pop radios not to mention that summer is approaching fast.
This year's Brits are totally belong to Olivia Dean taking home four awards and with some great performances by Harry Styles, Rosalia and Mark Ronson that made the evening worth watching.
Now the reason i m posting maybe too many cover versions is because as i wrote before that they work like an education for music enthusiasts. And if this one by Bob Sinclar and Kiesza on vocals may make you search for the iconic original by Nu Shooz then it worths writing for.The year was 1985 when "I Can't Wait" was released and became one of my favourite 12 inch maxi singles in my collection.Of course i don't have to say that this cover version is far under the original version but still it's nice to see a beloved 80s anthem coming back even that way.
Centuries back Leonardo Da Vinci created masterpieces in Italy so memorable that even today they are praised. In 2026 another Da Vinci is about to expose Italy's art to the world. Sal Da Vinci won the Sanremo 2026 title with the song "Per sempre sì" and he represent Italy at this year's Eurovision song contest. His real name is Salvatore Michael Sorrentino. He was born in the United States, obtaining citizenship through a work coincidence. The song is already all over radios in Italy creating a frenzy that will make it one of the biggest hits in his country and in some parts of Europe. The good old Italian style that made many songs from this country international hits is all over this one.I really like this one...
I may have chosen 'Something Serious" from Bruno Mars brand new single but Bruno chose "Risk It All" as his brand new single from "The Romantic".This latin ballad is about the idea of risking everything for the person you love and the power of absolute devotion to love. The latin element is once again all over this song a choice that was intended by Bruno due to the success latin music is recieving right now especially because of Bad Bunny. This is a song that needs some time to unfold it's effect in your soul but eventually it will happen.
