KAROL G & BRUNO MARS - STILL

 This is not a very good week when it comes to new releases.Even the major ones doesn't seem to have the potential to keep "their fire burning" for a long time and that's why this year we have the least renew charts ever i think.It really makes me wonder how and why Ella Langley in The Usa and Sam Fender's "Rein Me In" with Olivia Dean in the Uk have spent so many weeks at number one.Are they really that good songs that deserved that?

After Madonna and Kylie's collaboration there is another one this week that it is highlighted.Latin superstar Karol G has managed to have not one but two major collabs on her new album.One with Bruno Mars and one with Drake.While Karol G has dabbled in bilingual features previously, "Still" marks a major milestone as her first full track performed entirely in English.The duet sits as one of the standout central anchors on her sixth studio album, "No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto"."Still" avoids the trap of feeling like a forced "superstar duet". Instead, Karol G and Bruno Mars deliver a genuine, heart-on-your-sleeve ballad that feels classic yet contemporary.The track expands into a lush, cinematic ballad complete with swelling harmonies (Bruno Mars once again proves how great singer he is) and classic soul flourishes.It grows with every listen even though it doesn't make quite an impression at first.

BRUNO MARS - RISK IT ALL

 I may have chosen 'Something Serious" from Bruno Mars brand new single but Bruno chose "Risk It All" as his brand new single from "The Romantic".This latin ballad is about the idea of ​​risking everything for the person you love and the power of absolute devotion to love.The latin element is once again all over this song a choice that was intended by Bruno due to the success latin music is recieving right now especially because of Bad Bunny.This is a song that needs some time to unfold it's effect in your soul but eventually it will happen.

BRUNO MARS - SOMETHING SERIOUS

 I don't know which one will be the next single for Bruno Mars after "I Just Might" but "The Romantic" album is in my hands and i choose this one to be the follow up.The album has only nine tracks with a lot of latin influences and many soul blues vibes that are his favourites in his last released albums.Bruno Mars is an asset for music he will be praised as one of the greatest the next decades and pretty much he will stay forever cause his talent is extrordinary.The global "Romantic" tour is a not miss event which i wish i can experience if south east Europe is in his plans.As for "Something Serious" the Carlos Santana influence is all over it overheating the air with summer latin vibes.

 Withhis first solo album in more than 8 years, since the multi-award winning "24K Magic" of 2016 Bruno Mars perhaps one of the most talented music person in the planet right now returns." I Just  Might" is his brand new single and draws clear inspiration from the disco aesthetic of the '70s but with the modern stamp.The official video clip in which Mars appears in a green suit, framed by... multiple versions of himself, as if leading a band full of Brunos.And as for the song is a certified hit for the many next months cause real music inspired from music as it was before has always a different taste in the end that makes go over it again and again.The single is the first sample of his fourth personal studio album, "The Romantic" , which is expected to be released on February 27.2026 has already a big hit and need to say another classic from Bruno?

The only way to bring back good music like soul to the hits is only if artist like Bruno Mars and other super stars invest on making these kind of songs. Soul & Rock needs that more than anyone else and here we have another fine example. The second single by Bruno Mars, Anderson.Paak as Silk Sonic after the success of "Leave The Door Open" is another soul gem this time more rhythmic that brings back 80's feeling with a lot of skate rolling (remember that?) and all the good music we had once.  Ήταν καιρός να επιστρέψει ο Bruno Mars και το κάνει με τον πιο silk και soul τρόπο. Μαζί με τον Anderson.Paak σχημάτισαν τους Silk Sonic και έχοντας τον θρυλικό Bootsy Collins σε αυτό εδώ μας παρουσιάζουν το "Leave The Door Open". Επιστροφή στην θρυλική soul των 70's και 80's η οποία έχει λείψει τόσο πολύ από τα αυτιά μας. Και ο Bruno Mars θέλει και μπορεί να την επιβάλει στο ραδιόφωνο και κατ επέκταση στο ευρύ κοινό. Σε μία εποχή που η μονοτονία αποτελεί την αυτιστική εκδοχή της μουσικής η οποία έχει επικρατήσει το "Leave The Door Open" ανοίγει την πόρτα της "soul"...

ED SHEERAN, CHRIS STAPLETON & BRUNO MARS - BLOW

Το "Collaborations Project" του Ed Sheeran συνεχίζει να απελευθερώνει το ένα τραγούδι μετά το άλλο και φυσικά η συνεργασία του με τον Bruno Mars και τον Chris Stapleton είναι από τα highlights του album αλλά τι θα ακούσετε. Το "Blow" thank god δίνει μια γερή δόση rock που τόσο έχει λείψει από τους καταλόγους επιτυχιών για πολλές δεκαετίες. Και επειδή μιλάμε για πρώτης γραμμής ονόματα το τραγούδι που θυμίζει Led Zeppelin είναι μία όαση που η μουσική χρειάζεται..

CARDI B & BRUNO MARS - PLEASE ME

Αυτός που έχει αποκαταστήσει την soul τα τελευταία χρόνια στα αυτιά του κόσμου είναι ο Bruno Mars ο οποίος με την μοναδική soul φωνή του έχει κάνει επιτυχίες. Μετά την συνεργασία του με την Cardi B για το "Finesse" ανταποδίδει με το "Please Me" στο νέο single της Cardi B με διακριτούς ρόλους εκείνος το soul part και εκείνη το rap part. Slow jam που είναι από αυτά που θα πουλήσουν και που οποιοσδήποτε άλλος και αν το τραγουδούσε δεν θα συνέβαινε φυσικά το ίδιο...

BRUNO MARS ft CARDI B - FINESSE (PINK PANDA REMIX)

Αν και η original version μ αρέσει περισσότερο από το remix των Pink Panda όχι γιατί δεν είναι καλό αλλά επειδή το original έχει την αισθητική περασμένων δεκαετιών που μας θύμισε ευχάριστα θα σας το προτείνω για μια πιο στακάτη χορευτική εκδοχή του "Finesse". Το νέο single του Bruno Mars έκανε ιδιαίτερη αίσθηση με την προσθήκη της πιο hot female rapper αυτή την στιγμή στον πλανήτη της Cardi B και πούλησε περισσότερο από το νέο single του Justin Timberlake βάζοντας το στην τριάδα του Billboard όπου και θα παραμείνει καπου εκεί απειλώντας το "Perfect" του Ed Sheeran που δεν λέει να αποκαθηλωθεί εκτός και αν το 'Havana" την κανει την ανατροπή τελευταία στιγμή με τις τόσες τηλεοπτικες εμφανισεις της Cabello. Νομίζω δίκαια είναι ένα ακόμα hit για τον Bruno Mars ο οποίος είναι super star και θα προσφέρει επιτυχίες για πολλές δεκαετίες ακόμα...

Σιγά σιγά θα μπαίνουμε σε κανονικούς ρυθμούς από νέες κυκλοφορίες μια και σήμερα θα έχουμε αρκετές και σημαντικές οπότε stay tuned...Από την άλλη έχουμε και το πως ξεζουμίζουμε ένα ήδη πολύ επιτυχημένο album όπως αυτό του Bruno Mars και ο τρόπος είναι με το να συνεχίσουμε να κυκλοφορούμε singles με την προσθήκη hot ονομάτων όπως αυτό της Cardi B. Το "Finesse" με την προσθήκη ενός rap part γυαλίζει σαν μία από τις νέες κυκλοφορίες του 2018 σε έναν ούτως ή άλλως πολύ συμπαθητικό Bruno Mars ο οποίος είναι και από τους αγαπημένους μου...
