Bad Bunny is so huge right now that except maybe Harry Styles no one else can be compared to him in popularity. With almost every song from his latest album he occupies the global i tunes chart with a steady amount of streaming for days now.The latin superstar launched another USA top 10 hit this week with "Me Porto Bonito" entering Billboard's highest positions. The ultra hyped lyrics and going viral on Tik Tok is a sign that "Me Porto Bonito" is one of the best latin songs this year...
Alfie Templeman is one of the future indie pop stars from Britain that has just released his album "Mellow Moon". The refreshing grasp of melody of his new single "Colour Me Blue" caught my attention cause it hits you with the biggest punch of euphoria. Despite any chart position this a feel good energy coming your way everytime you hit the play button and it needs to be shared to as many ears possible. Remember Alfie for the future.
To mark his 25 years of career Robbie Williams is about to release a new album called "XXV" with all his greatest hits plus a new song together with the Dutch Metropol orchestra in new versions that will blow your mind. The first sample is the cosmic and full of chills new orchestra version of "Angels" that no one can resist even after all these years. The exceptional artwork of the album is inspired of "The Thinker" by French sculptor Auguste Rodin. Need to say more?
Kate Bush is on the hunt for receiving for the first time after the release of "Running Up That Hill" the title of number one single. "As It Was" by Harry Styles will have to fight for a tenth week while Kate Bush is challenging. But there is also another song from the past that will enter the Uk top 10."God Save The Queen" by punk rock gods Sex Pistols released back in 1977 will get it's highest chart position entering the Top 10 following the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and the Record store day special vinyl re-release of the iconic song.As you can see there is always a reason for songs to receive attention and high charting position and it's not all about how good the song is.
Also in the Billboard chart Harry Styles will spend a third week at number one while Kate Bush will also enter the top 10 for the very first time after it's release. And that will be far from over since the potential of "Running Up That Hill" is so big that it will mark a chart record history next week.
Now Klavdia is a Greek artist that made it to the Voice of Greece final three years ago.It may took a little but Klavdia will be charting high in the greek radios with this ethnic pop dance anthem that will put her in the music map somehow...
Cat Burn's "Go" is one of my favourite singles of the year.It strikes me that it's not an international hit already but the success stays in Uk only.Things may change after this new version which recruits Sam Smith on vocals as a duet. To tell you the truth this is only for the buzz of the single abroad cause it sounds to me a little proverb this duet. In any case that doesn't change my opinion about the song that it will be remembered for many dacades to come..
This is a Purple Disco Machine command."Wake Up" is a song released by Bosq back in 2020 with Kaleta on vocals. But the man who knows how to put you in the disco mood with every possible way takes on this song to realease it again in a shiny way.African vibes and disco is a killer for dancefloors and you all know that african vibes are on the loose the past two years. This is the first release PDM makes on Sony music globally and shows a glimpse of what's to come from the artist that has stolen our hearts here on Sound Fist...
One of the best dance anthems of the summer in my opinion gets a huge remix by John Summit."Escape" as if it wasn't already good enough rockets to new heights with a remix that is too good to be true.Summit proves that he is one of the greatests right now in the world of dance music providing this mesmerizing rendition of "Escape" a strong contestant for one of the best remixes this year...
"My Feelings For You" was released back in 1999 by Cassius creating a massive wave in dance music. Then in 2010 late super dj Avicii with Sebastien Drums released a remix version of the song expanding it's influence into the world of dance music.12 years later Don Diablo puts his own pen into this massive dancefloor creating a summer tool for all big rooms around the globe. This are serious beats dangerous with thermal heat. Beware...
DJ Snake has produced many international hits but this time he goes ethnic. With his new single he pays homage to his Algerian roots with the highly anticipated new single "Disco Maghreb". This oriental anthem full of percussions and ghaita linking North Africa and the Arab World in a rhythm way he knows too well. This traditional dance anthem might bring delirium to the dance floors...
Currently he climbing the charts with his Roddy Ricch collaboration but after the release of his brand new album "Twelve Carat Toothache" things are about to change. As usual streaming of the album will create a tsunami of singles entering the charts around the world. His collaboration with Kid Laroi and Doja Cat among others will occupy radios and charts the rest of the year. Especially this one with Doja Cat is expected to storm the radios and be his next official single from the album. And you know what it is without a single note...
After winning the Grammy for best alternative album earlier this year St.Vincent returns with a cover for the new ost "Minions:The Rise Of Gru". We have already heard some singles from this soundtrack and this cover of the iconic Lipps Inc fits perfectly to the Minions world. This is a rather alternative electronic aspect of the classic song that reached the top of the charts all over the world back in 1980.
This collaboration between Jax Jones and Martin Solveig called Europa made his first appearence back in 2019 and gave us two singles.Their biggest hit so far "All Day & Night" with Madison Beer on vocals and "Tequila" with Raye on vocals. The two massive producers this time they reqruit Gracey for their brand new "Lonely Heart" a club ready track with instant hit potentials in the Uk.The autistic vocals in the hook can create a dance syndrome and a massive impulse for the audience. I think it can make it..
Without a doubt "Where Are You Now" is a huge hit for the French producer-dj and will be one the songs you will hear all summer everywhere you go.The hard part is to repeat that success and for that Lost Frequencies recruits James Arthur on vocals for his new single "Questions". I have many after hearing this one and you ll get your own opinion after hearing it. Is that the best he could do?We know the genre we know the sound but this is quite saltless.I think that soon enough he will need something else to maintain his top position...
The truth is that this cover wasn't as good as it was supposed to be.Sia meeting Neneh Cherry for the cover album "The Versions" was a great idea but "Manchild" wasn't the right choice for Sia.Now here is the remix version by Tokimonsta who totally changed the whole original idea into something more unique.I m not sure that i like this one either cause i m stuck to the original version by Neneh Cherry but if i compare the cover and this remix i guess this is more interesting...
With Pet Shop Boys currently on their Greatest Hits tour and the brand new Soft Cell album out this "Purple Zone" single gets the Hercules Love Affair treatment as if it wasn't a buzz alert already.Of course this is for music lovers only and not for hits hunters cause history already proved what hit singles is all about.Get in the purple zone and just feel the experience no matter what...
