KLAVDIA - ASTEROMATA (PLAYMEN & VALERON CLUB REMIX)

Justice was served last night and Austria won the Eurovision final although it's a rather difficult song for the radios and for people to sing just like it was for Nemo last year.Klavdia against all odds took the 6th place although there were countries and their jurys that didn't give even one point to the Greek entry and my question is what they didn't hear? Her voice? The composition? They didn't understand the lyrics although there is a translation everywhere? The geopolitical thing when it comes to the jury voting somehow must stop and they should seriously consider to lower the precentage of the jury votes to 10 per cent or less.Who are they anyway.Klavdia is one the best voices in Europe and an international career is a must since this girl can sing anything (just search her covers on the internet). This is the dance version of "Asteromata" by Playmen and Valeron from Greece in order to expand the spreading of this song even in dance venues.

KLAVDIA - ASTEROMATA

The people from Greece have spoken and this year's Greek Eurovision entry is "Asteromata" by Klavdia. The song has a beautiful traditional melody with modern elements that explodes with Klavdia's voice which is something else. The 22-year-old singer , who we first met on "The Voice," Greece says she's ready to thrill the whole of Europe with her performance."Asteromata", with music and lyrics by Arcade, is an ethnic song that talks about refugeehood and uprooting. The song title used in Izmir to describe women with bright and striking eyes. The word tzivaeri in the lyrics comes from the Turkish cevahir, which means precious stone, precious gem. Metaphorically when we say to someone "my cevahir", we mean "my treasure". The message of the song is particularly resonant, as it speaks of the loss of homeland and the search for a better life. Klavdia drew her inspiration from the history of Pontic Hellenism, highlighting the genocide and uprooting of the Pontians.Hopefully the song will give chills when the song contest comes in May and why not even win the big prize.

KLAVDIA - LONELY HEART

Kate Bush is on the hunt for receiving for the first time after the release of "Running Up That Hill" the title of number one single. "As It Was" by Harry Styles will have to fight for a tenth week while Kate Bush is challenging. But there is also another song from the past that will enter the Uk top 10."God Save The Queen" by punk rock gods Sex Pistols released back in 1977 will get it's highest chart position entering the Top 10 following the Platinum Jubilee celebrations and the Record store day special vinyl re-release of the iconic song.As you can see there is always a reason for songs to receive attention and high charting position and it's not all about how good the song is.

Also in the Billboard chart Harry Styles will spend a third week at number one while Kate Bush will also enter the top 10 for the very first time after it's release. And that will be far from over since the potential of "Running Up That Hill" is so big that it will mark a chart record history next week.

Now Klavdia is a Greek artist that made it to the Voice of Greece final three years ago.It may took a little but Klavdia will be charting high in the greek radios with this ethnic pop dance anthem that will put her in the music map somehow...
