 Every year the number of posts here are falling not only due to lesser and lesser truly hits but because the selection for posting something here must obey some standards.And the brand new single by ASAP Rocky not only does that but it comes as a surpise."Punk Rocky" is the lead single from his upcoming album "Don’t Be Dumb", out next Friday January 16, and it features a psychedelic rock sound nothing close to what you ever heard from him.With a video featuring Winona Ryder, Danny Elfman, Thundercat and more this will be his first album in eight years after his legal battle for a shooting where he was found not guilty.This single is one of the most unexpected music turns i ever heard from a rapper and if that sets the tone for the forthcoming album then there are bigger surprises on the way.Kinda Outkast feeling here...

THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS ft ASAP ROCKY - ONE TRACK MIND

Σήμερα ολοκληρώθηκε ένας κύκλος κατάθεσης ψυχής με σκοπό την αυτογνωσία και την θεραπεία. Δεν ξέρω αν ο άνθρωπος γίνεται καλύτερος με αυτά που μπορεί να του συμβούν ή χειρότερος. Το μόνο σίγουρο είναι πως θα κουβαλάει μέχρι το τέλος τις ουλές του ότι και να γίνει. Συλλογική συνείδηση στα θέματα ψυχής δεν υπάρχει ακόμα και αν ο κοινός νους γνωρίζει τι πρέπει να κάνει κανείς. Συγνώμη που κάποιες φορές το blog ξεφεύγει από την μουσική και γίνεται πιο προσωπικό. Ίσως να φταίνε και τα τραγούδια που δίνουν αφορμές ζωής.
Προσωπικά μου άρεσε το τελευταίο album των Thirty Seconds To Mars και ας μην είχε την εμπορική ανταπόκριση που θα του άξιζε. Μήπως τελικά τα περισσότερα που πουλάνε είναι χαμηλής αξίας. Το νέο τους single " One Track Mind" είναι ίσως η καλύτερη απόδειξη. Και δεν θα πουλήσει...
