 Once again dance music turns to the classics but this time goes way back in 1967.By the way that was the year when i was born so Cream's classic "Sunshine Of Your Love" has some kind of a special meaning to me.Uk's Piero Pirupa with Chapter & Verse and Jude & Frank infused today's sounds with the flower power riffs to create "Sunshine" for all the dance lovers.These kind of dance tracks for me have more an educational purpose for youngsters rather than a chart or viral attitude.Dig into time with this one...

PIERO PIRUPA - CHANGE YOUR MIND (EXTENDED MIX)

 There must be some kind of collective mind lately about using Tears For Fears in newly released dance tracks.Few hours back it was Tiesto with "Rule The World" and now Piero Pirupa using "Shout" in his brand new release "Change Your Mind".It's not always the outcome when a classic is being used on a dance release but the memories it brings especially when you have lived it's original release in full effect.We have heard before this 1985 number one single by Tears For Fears being sampled and it's going to happen again and again.This one by Italian dj Piero Pirupa is not something to be remembered in long terms but i love the original...

Now it's time for Oliver Heldens to put his hands on the heavily sampled Pink Floyd classic for djs pure joy.Although i have said that i don't usually like rock into dance this one for some reason seems to combine all the elements in the right way not leaving any bitterness.Both the original and this remix are a dj weapon...

 Two of Italy's most in demand producers join forces once again for "Wild".This is the second attempt to reimagine a rock classic after "We Don't Need" which was inspired by "Another Brick In The Wall" by Pink Floyd.I m not a fan of classic iconic rock tracks turning into dancefloor anthems especially when you have lived the experience of getting older with them. Young kids probably don't know these songs so they might find this release cool.This time the iconic 1968 rock anthem "Born To Be Wild" by Steppenwolf turned into "Wild" by these two.Creating dance heat from unlikely sources is one thing and appreciating the original is another.Good reason for all of you to hear the original to get some really good wildness...

PIERO PIRUPA - WE DON'T NEED (MISTAJAM EXTENDED REMIX)

 One of the dance anthems i really like this period is Piero Pirupa's "We Don't Need" using the sample from Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall".Going back in time is neverending this year and Mistajam is destined to make the best remix for this anthem.Without question this one should and will be one of the dance tracks of the summer and if there are out there djs that won't be playing it then they don't know how to make the party started..

PIERO PIRUPA - WE DON'T NEED (EXTENDED MIX)

 Many things have happened the last few days. Foo Fighter's drummer Taylor Hawkins died at the age of 50 probably of drug use. Will Smith slapped Chris Rock live on stage at the Oscars and went viral today. Many approved many critisized on thing is for sure this will remain an epic moment on live tv and one thing that will haunt Smith for the rest of his life." Coda" was the big winner, "Power Of The Dog" the big loser and "Dune" went home with six Oscars. Billie Eilish won best song as it was expected with the James Bond theme "No Time To Die" and the rest is history.

Now it's not the first time someone attempts to use "Another Brick On The Wall" for a dance anthem. The Pink Floyd's classic is not something easy to use for this purpose.Italian dj Piero Pirupa used as less as possible the epic track and used a small sample creating "We Don't Need" which sounds cool for clubs. Otherwise the result may be a disastress...

PIERO PIRUPA - EVERYBODY'S FREE (TO FEEL GOOD)

 Υπάρχουν αρκετά dance anthems μεγάλες επιτυχίες από τα 90's που δεν έχουν διασκευαστεί τόσο όσο κάποια άλλα που τα ακούμε ξανά και ξανά. Το "Everybody's Free" της Rozalla από το μακρινό πλέον 1993 είναι από αυτά που είχαν "ξεχαστεί" από τους djs που αναβιώνουν μουσική από το παρελθόν με διάφορους τρόπους. Ta piano chords του συγκεκριμένου ήταν από αυτά που δονούσαν τα clubs τότε και θα μπορούσαν να βρουν πρόσφορο έδαφος και στο σήμερα. Άλλωστε γι αυτό έχουν τον τίτλο του classics και όχι άδικα. Μπράβο στον Piero Pirupa που το θυμήθηκε...
