 "Criminals" (originally titled "Call Us Criminals"), is a track on the deluxe edition of Meghan Trainor’s sixth studio album, Timeless, released on August 16, 2024.And guess what the song really works making it one of the best sellers this week.The song was originally intended for Meghan Trainor's third studio album, "Treat Myself", but was scrapped for unknown reasons.After 6 years since the song was first mentioned, on August 16, 2024, the song would be officially released on the deluxe edition of Meghan Trainor's sixth studio album, "Timeless", along with the songs "Make A Move" and "Booty".This is probably the catchiest single Meghan released in a long long time.

MEGHAN TRAINOR ft T PAIN - BEEN LIKE THIS

 Arriving just in time for the 10-year anniversary of her diamond-certified hit "All About That Bass", Meghan Trainor has announced her sixth full-length album, "Timeless", out June 14 with "Been Like This" serving as the first single.The pairing with T Pain on this one is rather odd but it really works at the end making "Been Like This" a candidate for a hit the next weeks.The electro swing element is once more the base for this song using an interpolation of the "Charleston" which is kinda her tradermark for the last 10 years.Some will love it and some will hate it.Let's see what the majority feels like the next days.

JIMMY FALLON & MEGHAN TRAINOR - WRAP ME UP

 I love Jimmy Fallon cause he is multi-talented and one of his talents is singing.I avoided the Christmas songs till now but we are in the heat week and "Wrap Me Up" seems like a nice choice for today.The "Tonight Show" host and Megan Trainor have released this one several weeks back and as expected it's among the top choices for a brand new festive song this week (the other one is Cher's entry for X-Mas).So if you have to wrap up some gifts anytime soon this is the right song for it.We will probably see it again charting sometime next year again.

 Now how long has it been since your last kids party?Cause the brand new single by Meghan Trainor sounds like the perfect children's song since "Baby Shark".You can find it if you are desperate in the deluxe version of her latest album "Takin' It Back" and on the video for the song you can see Kris Jenner starring as...the mother.The doo-wop-infused track samples The Chordettes’s "Mr. Sandman" in the post-chorus as Trainor repeats, "You just a bum bum bum".On the photo with her son baby Ed Sheeran....

 Now this is what i call promotion.If the song "Made You Look" or if the "ft" in this brand new version made you interested then this already and unexpected Meghan Trainor hit will make your day.With a brand new verse and the familiar catchy bop in the air sound her record company does everything to ensure it will continue to be at the top 10 of the charts.So far the number one wasn't achieved but who knows.Kim Petras on the other hand is trending after the "Unholy" thing but her solo single last week was unbearable to hear..

 Now why could possibly someone want a club version of this song is something you will have to ask yourself but here it is.Since something becomes very successful there is always going to be a dance version for the djs and the clubs even if you don't need it.Joel Corry makes a whole different "Made You Look" with bouncing tech house "guccies" and dropdowns to make you hear in a bigroom.Now if this remix sounds awkward you should stick to the original version or.....look elsewhere.

 In case you are wondering what is pop in the USA then you will be very dissapointed. The genre has been fallen in the abyss for some years now cause rap and country are consuming everything else in the land of the free.And if by chance a dance pop will manage to survive all this mess then it will be an exception.For instance Sam Smith's "Unholy" and David Guetta's "I m Good" are among the few that they survived on Billboard this year.Now Meghan Trainor's new single "Made You Look" out of her brand new album "Takin It Back" is currently doing very well but the question is for how long.The song is refering on different famous brands and the video is featuring Trainor's husbund actor Daryl Sabara.One really big hit "All About That Bass" in 2014 was enough to put her on television shows, releasing several singles and albums and be considered a well known music star in Usa.With "Made You Look" she combines that 60's sound with country pop splashes here and there that can really work overseas or not?

Οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες έχουν την pop που τους αξίζει. Πολλά τα γνωστά ονόματα αλλά χωρίς επιτυχία εδώ και καιρό. Γι αυτό και εισάγουν pop από την Βρετανία και την Κορέα αφού οι ίδιοι αναλώνονται στην rap hip hop και country. Η Meghan Trainor είναι από τις plus size pop stars που αλλιώς ξεκίνησε και αλλού πάει. Θεωρώ πως σύντομα δεν θα υπάρχει στα μουσικά δρώμενα και θα έχει και αυτή να διηγείται στα παιδιά της ιστορίες. Ωστόσο το προσπαθεί με ένα νέο album που έχει σαν single το "Nice To Meet Ya" το οποίο λόγω της παρουσίας της Nicki Minaj κάνει κάποια ελαφριά απόνερα στο Billboard χωρίς ιδιαίτερο λόγο.

Καλή εβδομάδα soundfisters...
Βρε πως περνάνε τα χρόνια αφού φέτος συμπληρώνονται 25 χρόνια από την δημοφιλή τηλεοπτική σειρά "Friends". Και επειδή δεν διασκευάζονται μόνο dance anthems εδώ έχουμε την διασκευή στο classic των Rembrands από την Meghan Trainor. Από συλλεκτικής άποψης οκ το βάζεις στο φακελάκι σου και λες το έχω. Γιατί αν πάμε στο επίπεδο πόσο καλή είναι η διασκευή μάλλον θα απογοητευτείτε αφού το "I LL Be TheRE For You" εξακολουθεί να ακούγεται φρέσκο στην original version του...

Οι CNCO είναι ιδιαίτερα γνωστοί στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες και προσπαθούν μέσω της latin να κερδίσουν ένα major hit που θα τους κάνει ως boyband ένα international όνομα. Με το νέο τους single έχουν αυτή την δυνατότητα αφού τόσο η Meghan Trainor που σιγοντάρει όσο και ο Sean Paul φτιάχνουν ένα "Despacito" anthem που θα λειτουργήσει άψογα το καλοκαίρι αλλά και στα χειμερινά latin party. O Sigala θεωρείτε ήδη hitmaker αφού πολλά από τα singles του έχουν βρεθεί στο Uk chart. Μέσα στο ντεμπούτο album του "Brighter Days" θα υπάρχει και το νέο του single "Just Got Paid" το οποίο είναι πολυσυλλεκτικό με όλους αυτούς που διαβάζεις με μία disco funky διάθεση που δεν θα σε φτιάχνει μόνο την ημερομηνία που θα μπαίνει ο μισθός σου αλλά και για όλες τις υπόλοιπες μέρες. Θεωρώ ότι είναι από τις πιο catchy νέες κυκλοφορίες σήμερα σίγουρο Top 10 γιατί όχι και ψηλότερα και κάτι που δεν θα σε προδώσει στα επαναλαμβανόμενα plays...

Ta singles κυκλοφορούν δύο δύο πια ή και περισσότερα πράγμα που δεν με βρίσκει σύμφωνο με αυτό το ξεπούλημα των καλλιτεχνών οι οποίοι αφενός δεν προσέχουν τι κυκλοφορούν από την άλλη τα πετάνε και όποιο πιάσει. Και ένα να πιάσει καλό θα είναι για αυτούς. Η Meghan Trainor λοιπόν κυκλοφόρησε σήμερα δύο singles με καλύτερο το "Let You Be Right" το οποίο βρήκα αρκετά συμπαθητικό με την pop disco διάθεση του να είναι κάτι που δεν είχαμε ακούσει από αυτήν...

Δεν υπάρχουν δικαιολογίες για την επιλογή αυτού εδώ σαν πρώτο single για την Meghan Trainor το οποίο δεν θα παρουσίαζα στο blog μου αν δεν είχε χτίσει το όνομα που έχει και που νομίζω πως πολύ σύντομα θα χάσει αν συνεχίσει να κυκλοφορεί τέτοιες χαζές ανούσιες pop αηδίες. Είναι κρίμα να διαχειρίζεται έτσι την διασημότητα που απέκτησε με το πρώτο της single και υπόσχομαι να μην την ξαναμπλογκάρω αν συνεχίσει να τραγουδάει τέτοια..
