 It's good to see RnB artists having once more success and SZA is one of them. Few years ago she was just a very respectfull new artist with grammy nominations and wins but no hits. Then came some artists like Doja Cat to make  RnB music popular again and her collab with SZA in one of the most successful tracks of the year "Kiss Me More" rocketed SZA in popularity. Her new single is right now the most streamed song in the USA and hopefully a new big entry in the next Billboard issue. "Missionary is really getting boring so let's switch position"...

JAYMES YOUNG - INFINITY

 There is no room for new songs in the charts so next Friday's Uk Top will host at least 15 festival songs in the Top 20. The duet between Ed Sheeran & Elton John is almost certain and straight at number one. You will have to wait 3 weeks for things to get normal and maybe this challenge on Tik Tok called the "Infinity" challenge will create another unexpected hit. Jaymes Young released that song back in 2017 before corona virus and vaxinations so it has a breathe of fresh air. This is another proof on how good songs cause it is are vanished if there is no promotion and how they can become hits in a flash...

Becky G seems to be a great "Money Heist" fan and after the release of the final 5 episodes of the tv series that became a global phenomenon here comes a reggaeton remix of the song that marked the show. The well known anti-facist anthem "Bella Ciao" gets another aspect with Becky G paying tribute with that way to her favourite tv series. NEIKED ft MAE MULLER & POLO G - BETTER DAYS (REGARD REMIX)

 This is definitely one of my 30 favourite tracks of 2021 and i still believe that after holidays will gain more credits. If not that doesn't change the fact that Neiked is under my radar and on repeat at my speakers. The remix of "Better Days" came from Regard and it's not better than the original in my opinion. The feeling of the single version is still unbeatable and i don't know if someone else besides Purple Disco Machine or Claptone can catch the vibe and create a better version...

DECO - BITTER SWEET SYMPHONY

 Now this may come as a surprise but Uk quintet Deco seems to have a thing for making covers and mash ups. Few months ago they did a mash up of Oasis "Wonderwall" and Bronski Beat's "Smalltown Boy" that went viral in the Uk. This time they cover Verve's 1997 smash "Bitter Sweet Symphony" in a unique way. The electronic shimmering vibe of this cover makes it almost irresistible and might make it a unexpected hit in the worst possible period for it. All Christmas tunes are good but the classics even in a whole new way is a rather good choice...

MARINA - HAPPY LONER

 "Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land" is getting a deluxe version including her new single "Happy Loner". The piano driven song that links to Tori Amos is another great song by Marina that fits perfect in my playlist for the holidays. As usual it won't get a streaming attention which means pure chart position but the blog doesn't care about that anymore. I watch the charts, i see the hits but i also know what to post here. And Marina deserves it all...

ARIANA GRANDE ft KID CUDI - JUST LOOK UP

 One of the movies you have to see the next days is "Don't Look Up" cause it's going hard for the Oscars. In the movie we have Leo Di Caprio and Jennifer Lawrence as scientists warning almost everybody about an asteroid that is going to hit earth but noone takes them seriously. It's not an post apocalyptic film but rather a short of a bitter comedy and nothing like we have seen before in these kind of movies. Now if you "Just Look Up" you will not only see the asteroid but you will hear the heavenly voice of Ariana Grande which teams up with Kid Cudi for the song of the film and maybe a nominee as best original song and why not win it. The song is also going to surf the charts around the globe and it's a great song...

FKA TWIGS - MEASURE OF A MAN (CINEMATIC VERSION)

 I just feel that i have to post again FKA Twig's "Measure Of A Man" once again this time in a different version. Both versions are making this release one of the best songs i heard the last month and you owe it to yourself to put it in your playlist. This cinematic version is without Central Cee on vocals has a different feeling that reminds more a 60's release or an Amy Winehouse flavour that also sounds brilliant. Personally i hear them both equally depending my mood and everytime is a payback!!!
