TION WAYNE ft LA ROUX - IFTK

 It's only natural not to feel empathy for some hit songs cause people from another country can not easily comprehend why Tion Wayne is so popular in the Uk. After the huge success he had last year in the island with drill bomb "Body" here comes this year's new release called "IFTK". I probably wouldn't make a review on it but it uses La Roux "In For The Kill" the first ever post made by me in the so long gone Hitmaster blog.My blogging days started with this evergreen masterpiece by La Roux back in 2009 and it still makes me keep going.The song probably will hit the Uk charts soon after the Eurovision effect is over...

TIESTO & DEORRO - SAVAGE

 Tiesto continues his string of releases for this summer having already big hits the previous months which are dj favourites anyway for the clubs. This collaboration with Mexican well established Deorro is exactly what you would expect from the two super djs. A club anthem and can easily spread out in no time. "Savage" not only could take over the clubs but mainstream radios as well. All these in a theoretical level cause reality can be surprising many times.

DXRK - RAVE

This blog documents the songs that for some reasons are making waves around the world. I don't make the charts or press the play buttons on You Tube or the streaming services.This is not an apology i m just saying things as they are. Of course from what comes to my ears i always recommend you songs for your playlist whether they are on the charts or not.

Now this artist called DXRK there are not infos at all but this release called "Rave" is expanding day by day making it a potential out of the blue hit. The song is climbing Billboard's top 20 EDM/electronic dance charts in a flash so keep that in mind. Trying to discover what's all the fuss about "Rave" i find myself unable to really understand young kids..

 Although it was a Eurovision week don't be mistaken this next week belongs totally to Kendrick Lamar. The release of his brand new album "Mr Morale & The Big Steppers" finds him owning the streaming services all around the major charts with almost every song from this album.This means that in the USA as in the Uk expect the Kendrick Lamar tsunami. "N95" will impact among others as high as it gets proving that Lamar has a huge affect in music. Album sales will be huge but the singles will remain a gone too soon storm..

 Eight years of waiting and the result is here. My Chemical Romance have returned with their brand new single "The Foundations Of Decay" an emo-hard rock six minute epic blast that is needed in the music world. The single comes ahead of their reunion tour and this one will sound great in a stadium full of people. In a world that is in decay for a long period of time and who is about to explode in a big bang we should search for the foundations and set the blast right there and not in our planet.Go electric once in a while it clarifies the field...

NO RESOLVE & STATE OF MINE - DANGER ZONE

 As Top Gun "Maverick" is closer to the big screen more and more songs from the original soundtrack are receiving attention in any form especially covers. After Duncan Lawrence's cover of "Take My Breath Away" here comes a smash cover by two genuine electric bands No Resolve and State Of Mine. Too bad that this cover won't be on the new soundtrack cause "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins needed an updated version and not just the original which is a timeless classic in every way. Hearing this cover by the two metal bands you will find yourselves in front of the F 35 engines feeling every blast in this danger zone. This is the best cover of the song so far...

MIKA - YO YO

 Mika is curruntly co-hosting this year's Eurovision and it's only normal to release a new single. The single is rather emotive but upbeat at the same time."Yo Yo" will be performed tomorrow at the Eurovision final along with some of his biggest hits.Could this be included too? My personal feeling is that the single is rather good, radio friendly and with the right promotion could set off for high flights..

MANESKIN - SUPERMODEL

 They are back and you are gonna hear their brand new single live for the first time at the Eurovision final tomorrow.They made a deep impact after last year's win at the same contest and many seem to like them a lot. As for the two semi finals and the final following on Saturday all i have to say is that the Ukraine entry is not the best song and it will only be unfair to win just because of the war as a sign of support. Now back to "Supermodel" the brand new single by Maneskin. This pop-rock profile of the single along with lead singers appealing will once more draw the attention and the single will rise in no time at the charts and the radios. Clever single and catchy...

ONEREPUBLIC - I AIN'T WORRIED

 Second single that pops out from the new Top Gun "Maverick" movie after the one from Lady Gaga. After the release of the movie i guess all the singles are going to be boosted including this one from OneRepublic who managed to enter this huge movie-music project. Although "I Ain't Worried" doesn't stand the standards i put for the songs from this ost that doesn't mean it's not an important release for this week.OneRepublic should stop repeating themselves or others and start creating something more original...

POST MALONE & RODDY RICH - COOPED UP

 The brand new Post Malone album is out on June 3rd and it's called "Twelve Carat Toothache".So far every single he released from that album including the one with The Weeknd didn't have the success it was expected. The charts doesn't say the truth about the songs everybody knows that so it's up to everybody to develop an opinion."Cooped Up" is his brand new release and Roddy Ricch helps on this one. Not really impressed with his new single is my personal opinion so expect probably a medium rare chart reaction...

TOM ODELL - ANOTHER LOVE (TIESTO REMIX)

 Tom Odell's "Another Love" from 2012 was never a big hit. It managed to enter the Uk Top 10 in 2013 but that was it. As i have said many times before the chart position doesn't indicates the value of a song. These past few months the song became viral through TikTok and it sounds just as fresh as 10 years ago. It touches the audience and it will remain a beloved tune in the next decades no matter what. Due to the success of the song Tiesto just made a remix for "Another Love" adding the proper dance beat to it but also keeping the fundamental instrumentation of the original...

 Galantis are gearing up for this summer by releasing multipke singles and collabs these past weeks. So far none has managed to sound intriguing or show any chance for success. Their latest is called "1X1" and it has something different that makes it kinda interesting. The duo that managed to chart in Uk as long as the rest of Europe is considered one of the hot dance acts around the world and they are looking to keep it that way.
