NO RESOLVE & STATE OF MINE - DANGER ZONE

 As Top Gun "Maverick" is closer to the big screen more and more songs from the original soundtrack are receiving attention in any form especially covers. After Duncan Lawrence's cover of "Take My Breath Away" here comes a smash cover by two genuine electric bands No Resolve and State Of Mine. Too bad that this cover won't be on the new soundtrack cause "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins needed an updated version and not just the original which is a timeless classic in every way. Hearing this cover by the two metal bands you will find yourselves in front of the F 35 engines feeling every blast in this danger zone. This is the best cover of the song so far...

STATE OF MINE - IN THE AIR TONIGHT

 41 years ago appeared an emblematic song created by the mastermind of Phil Collins. Till today this song has the same impact as the first day and the drum break is one of the most iconic moments in the history of music.There has been some covers of the song mostly dance that failed to even come close to the original. Anyone who dares to cover "In The Air Tonight" is doomed to fail until today. Most certainly this cover by the metal band of State Of Mine is the cover of the month cause it brings the energy that requires to approach the original.Without a doubt this one made my day among the new releases of the week.
