 "Astronaut" is the second to be lifted from the live album which is out on October 25 by Tears For Fears after first single "The Girl That I Call Home"."Songs For A Nervous Planet" contains also some  new songs and this one is a rather soothing jam aligned with the band's sound all these years.The band recently defended why they chose to use AI in the design of their new album cover, which features an astronaut in a field of sunflowers and which seems likely to overshadow the actual music on that record, but the music is still coming out. "Astronaut" is a soulful lament about feeling like you belong in a different world with some serious falsetto action in it that builds to a big psychedelic crescendo.

 There are few bands that their career is expanded for more than four decades and Tears For Fears are among them.The duo announced their first-ever live album which will include four brand-new studio tracks, including today’s new single "The Girl That I Call Home".Out this October, "Songs For A Nervous Planet" arrives alongside an accompanying concert film recorded at the FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin, Tennessee last year and it will contain 22 songs.With dreamy synths, skittering drums, and tender vocals, "The Girl That I Call Home" is a reminder of Tears for Fears warmest impulses.

TEARS FOR FEARS & LIL BABY - THE WORLD IS YOURS TO TAKE

 I wish i didn't have to make the review on this one. I remember some past decades the official world cup anthems for football were huge hits with the biggest names taking musical part on this huge celebration.This choice for the official Fifa World Cup anthem in Qatar in November is seriously with a lack of inspiration.Using "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" by Tears For Fears as a sample over autotune rap vocals by Lil Baby is a serious mistake.Not only you defile a classic but it also makes you wanna watch other sports instead.Whoever made that choice should be punished...

TEARS FOR FEARS - THE TIPPING POINT

 I m in tears, tears of joy cause one of my favourite bands returns after 17 years. If you are too young to know them search the internet to hear what is all about this duo. Mega hits that marked an era and after a tour that started two years ago they come to a "Tipping Point". That's the name of their new album that will be released in February 2022 and the first single is the track with the same name. The thrill is still there, the sound is still there and the Tears For Fears are still there..

TEARS FOR FEARS - I LOVE YOU BUT I M LOST

Υπάρχουν ορισμένα posts που πρέπει να γίνονται τιμής ένεκεν άσχετα με το αν το τραγούδι αξίζει τον κόπο ή όχι. Για παράδειγμα η επιστροφή των Tears For Fears με νέο τραγούδι μετά από 13 χρόνια απουσίας δεν είναι κάτι που το παραβλέπεις αν θέλεις να λέγεσαι μουσικό blog. Οι νεότεροι βέβαια δεν γνωρίζουν την συνεισφορά τους στην pop κουλτούρα με τραγούδια όπως το "Mad World", "Shout", Everybody Wants To Rule The World" και τόσα άλλα που έχουν χαραχτεί ανεξίτηλα στην ψυχή μου (και πολλών άλλων 80's kids φαντάζομαι). Το τραγούδι αυτό είναι μέρος ενός best με τις μεγαλύτερες επιτυχίες τους για να τους μάθουν οι νεότεροι και να θυμηθούν οι παλιότεροι. Δεν θα βάλω βαθμολογία σε κάτι από ένα τόσο σημαντικό group εσκεμμένα. Η αλήθεια είναι πως τα vocals δεν θυμίζουν σε τίποτα το group που ήξερα και δεν θα τους αναγνώριζα με τίποτα αλλά και μόνο που επέστρεψαν είναι αρκετό για να ξυπνήσουν μνήμες...Αγάπη μόνο...
