The world is turning upside down and last year's "I/O" by Peter Gabriel becomes this year's "O/I" continuing his groundbreaking journey in art-rock.Peter Gabriel will be releasing a song from the new album every full moon, in two different versions: the Dark-Side Mix by Tchad Blake and the Bright-Side Mix by Mark 'Spike' Stent , accompanied by a piece of artwork. The nearly eight-minute "Been Undone" is the first single released by this album that does not yet have an official release date. Peter Gabriel continues to explore musical and philosophical paths, offering a work that combines music, art and his personal perspective on the world.

PETER GABRIEL - FOUR KIND OF HORSES (BRIGHT SIDE MIX)

 This is probably the best song i ve heard so far from Peter Gabliel's return with "I/O".This track was produced by XL recordings owner Richard Russell while Brian Eno is on the synths.And if all that aren't good enough then "Four Kind Of Horses" will surely reward you unless you are a dance person so keep away.Peter Gabriel will also be touring later this month and this song will surely be a treat.

PETER GABRIEL - I/O (BRIGHT-SIDE MIX)

 For some strange reason Peter Gabriel is releasing his singles from his brand new album every fool moon.There’s still no official release date for "I/O" but this is the title track of the album.We have already heard some of the singles from an album of new material that took Peter more than 20 years to release.Gabriel is set to tour Europe this spring, kicking off his tour in May in Krakow, Poland and if you have the chance go see one of the living legends of music.

The Grammy's are over....Beyonce made history as from now has the most wins by any artist in Grammy history, Harry Styles won the biggest prize of the night (album of the year), Bonnie Raitt stole song of the year and Lizzo ( i adore her) won record of the year.I was so happy that Purple Disco Machine won the Grammy for best remix for Lizzo's "About Damn Time" establishing what we all know and love about him.Now Miley Cyrus will stay at the top at the Billboard's Hot 100 for third week and next year will be seated at the Grammy's herself.

Now some people that made history in the past winning many awards are Peter Gabriel and Brian Eno.They don't have to prove anything any more just provide their music to the world.These two have collaborated for "I/0" the brand new Peter Gabriel album and this is the second single out of it."The Court" is all about justice in this world and a way to think will listening to good music.

Peter Gabriel's return in music is one of the highlights this year apart of charts, sales, streaming or whatever makes a release a success."Panopticom" is a a song about seeing everything and be able to communicate with everything.And when i first reviewed this song it was the bright side mix.But wherever there is a bright side there is always a dark one and this one will kick off our week.Embrace all sides especially if those are coming from the great Peter Gabriel...

 There are some people in music that they don't have to prove anything.Peter Gabriel from the Genesis days till his solo career had it all.Hits, great songs, acceptance by everybody and all it's left is a legacy that continues in 2023 after 21 years of silence.We need people like Peter Gabriel in music and just as long he is healthy and can create music the world needs his songs.There is an upcoming new album called "I/O" with no release date yet and the first single is "Panopticom".This is a great deal for the world of music and the best way to kick off the new year...
