CHRIS BROWN ft LEON THOMAS - FALLIN

Next Friday Chris Brown will release his brand new album "BROWN" and one of the "brownies" will be this outstanding duet with one of the most upcoming soul artists."Fallin" brings together Chris Brown and Leon Thomas who's success with "Mutt" in the USA put him in the watch out artists this year. This song brings back to memory Alicia Key's "Falling" both in sound as the title but the outcome gives you a fresh RnB, Blues taste you want to hear again and again. The production is based on a deep bassline and rhythmic percussion, creating a sonic background that highlights the performances of the two artists. In the song, Chris Brown expresses his desire to repair a relationship that is collapsing, while Leon Thomas adds a more nostalgic dimension, reminiscing about moments lost over time."Fallin'" is the second collaboration between the two artists, following "Mutt (CB Remix)".

DISCLOSURE & LEON THOMAS - DEEPER

As we are getting closer to Xmas less and less new releases by big names will be released cause everybody knows that there's no luck in streaming services or the charts for the next at least 30 days.Still there are some artists like Leon Thomas that next year will probably dominate music since their audience is growing fast."Mutt" after 42 weeks managed to enter the Usa top 10 after a long time struggling to make a difference. And now an offering for a single with Disclosure will expand his fame not only in the Uk (which is waiting for him) but in the dance genre also."Deeper" is a true meeting in the middle for Disclosure and Leon. The brother duo craft a wavy electronic dance cut that features 2-step-inspired drum programming alongside vibey synth work, including a rich, wobbly bass. One of the few interesting new releases this week.

LEON THOMAS - MUTT

 Have a nice week soundfisters...

Thank god glimpses of soul and RnB are getting more and more attention lately and maybe a brighter future for this genre is upon us.After releasing his latest album "Mutt" on September 2024 nothing really happened until now. Signed to Ty Dolla $ign's newly launched EZMNY Records imprint, which was a joint venture deal with Motown a path of promotion was created and several months after it's release the title track of the album is riding the Billboard Hot 100 with a potential top 20 on the way. Many reviewed the album as the best RnB album of 2024 not only for its musicality but also for its cultural impact. It's always great to be infused on the radio with songs like this one.
