PRINCE - BABY DOLL

 Prince's vault is full of treasures for them to be fully exposed (i hope) at some time. For many years we knew that there was a demo somewhere for a Prince and Kylie Minogue collab that didn't happen in the form we wanted to."Baby Doll" is an unreleased track recorded in late April - early May 1992 at Sydney.The lyrics were written by Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue and the track was intended for her. The song is listed here as a "Prince and the New Power Generation" track, as Kylie Minogue did not re-recorded it and the only version that is known to exist is by the full band with Prince on lead vocals.. Apparently, this recording of "Baby Doll" was supposed to be included on a 2022 archival compilation that the Prince Estate axed for some reason. It has that bit of disco flair that Minogue was cranking out on her own records around the same time.Well that song leaked online and with great pleasure is here for all you Purple one fans.

 Gok Wan is a British fashion consultant, author, television presenter, actor, DJ and chef.This year he made a cover for a charity reason which brings it on the top sales this period in the Uk. Gok Wan is joined by the House Gospel Choir on a re-work of the Aretha Franklin classic "A Deeper Love" in memory of his best friend, Allison. Allison sadly died in May following treatment for stage 4 cancer. This single is dedicated not just in memory of Ali, but for every person who has been affected by cancer. I hope it will help others on their own journey and raise lots of money for Macmillan.Is there a deeper love than this one?

 I m trying to see beyond the Christmas period cause what it is for now can't change.The dynamics say that Lola Young with "Messy" have a good cjance to become the new Chapell Roan phenomenon next year so all we have to see is just wait and see.For the next 10 days new releases will be poor in every way but my radar will be open for any surprises.Now Fred Again released not one but two new songs with "Light Dark Light" being the one that suits better this period.It's like seeing the Christmas lights blinking in the silent of the night while you get in touch with the mood of the festive hours.

 45 years and counting for this band that was a part of the revolution in the 80's for new age and electronic music.Hit singles LIKE "I Ran (So Far Away)" (1982), "Space Age Love Song" (1982), "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)" (1982), and "The More You Live, the More You Love" (1984) are part of their musical legacy that continues with this brand new single that really impressed me.The track features on their upcoming sixth studio album "Some Dreams", their first of new material since 1995, set to arrive on December 13th. Beautiful song. Hits you like a musical dream. Mike Score craftily fits so much emotion into a song that you really need to hear and put it into your playlist.
