 Now this is very interesting not only because it samples "Sinnerman" by Nina Simone but because it features some very important personf in music.Nigerian DJ Spinall who works as a sound engineer with Dr Dre who has helped in the production on this one along with well known and massive in France Dj Snake recruits Summer Walker and Ayanna for the vocals of "Power".This blend of Afro Beat and bombastic amapiano sound will be part of the soundtrack of the short film "The Flipper's Skate Heist".It gained a place in my playlist with this unique sound that makes it very very interesting..

BASTILLE - SHUT OFF THE LIGHTS (SPINALL REMIX)

 Their brand new album "Give Me The Future" is expected to hit the number one spot next friday in the Uk who celebrates music tonight with the Brits 2022. Their latest single "Shut Off The Lights" didn't gain my trust in the original version but this remix gave me such a "All Night Long" feeling by Lionel Ritchie that immediately made me change my mind. The Carribean flavour makes it a summer ready dance anthem so far away from the original Bastille sound..
