SIGRID - BURNING BRIDGES (CRUSH CLUB REMIX)

 Remixes mostly provide a dance version to a release but very often destroys the original idea. Sometimes also upgrades a song who needs a different production. In this case the latest single by Sigrid didn't need any of that but Crush Club offered a total bliss version of the "Burning Bridges" making the upgrade unnecessary but so suitable. And yes this version plays unstoppabale ever since i heard it. So uplifting, so beautiful, so dope...

SIGRID - BURNING BRIDGES

 I think i misjudged "Mirror" Sigrid's preview single and i have to apologize to her for being to harsh to her. After all some songs can be underatted from the first listen and believe me there is no time between bloging them and first listen. Mistakes can happen and there is always you out there. The second single of the Norwegian artist that brings to pop a quality time is "Burning Bridges" and is a good one. There is always time to let go and that's what is all about in the lyrics and if you have to do that then don't hesitate. Hopefully this single will get more attention although it's not a massive pop hit in the short term..

SIGRID - MIRROR (ZOOKEPER REMIX)

 There is a warm up interest in Nowergian's rising star Sigrid and the remixes had to do a lot about this release which was the comeback single for her."Mirror" sounds a lot better in these dance forms and maybe it was necessary for a song that sounded that it needed something more in the production. Djs will love this Zookeper remix that is just in the right time for all the reasons in the world..

 H Sigrid ξεκίνησε με τις καλύτερες προυποθέσεις πέρυσι την καριέρα της στην Βρετανική μουσική σκηνή και το νέο της single δεν το είδατε στο Sound Fist γιατί δεν με έπεισε. Θα το βρείτε όμως σήμερα γιατί ο Paul Woolford που κάνει με τα remix του πολύ καλύτερα μέτρια singles του έδωσε το απαραίτητο upgrade για djs και λάτρεις της χορευτικής μουσικής. Νομίζω πως αυτή θα έπρεπε να είναι η original version ή τέλος πάντων κάπως έτσι για να αξίζει τον κόπο..

SIGRID - SUCKER PUNCH

H Sigrid κατάφερε να κερδίσει πέρυσι τον τίτλο sound of 2018 για το BBC με το "Strangers" single της να είναι το καλύτερο της μέχρι στιγμής. Το "Sucker Punch" είναι ένα νέο single από νέο album που ετοιμάζει φαντάζομαι και παρ όλο που δεν με ενθουσιάζει έχει ένα ενδιαφέρον στην εναλλακτική pop ακριβώς γιατί είναι διαφορετικό από αυτά που παίζουν συνέχεια τα ραδιόφωνα..

SIGRID - I DON'T WANT TO KNOW

Ψηφίστηκε από το BBC ως sound of the year και το "Strangers" ήταν ένα εξαιρετικό single κατά την γνώμη μου που ακουμπούσε στην pop πλευρά της Sigrid. H πιτσιρίκα από την Νορβηγία με το "I Don't Want To Know" εμφανίζει και ένα άλλο πρόσωπο αρκετά πιο εσωτερικό και indie που θα λατρέψουν οι κριτικοί και λιγότερο ο κόσμος. Είναι για πιο ιδιαίτερες καταστάσεις και λίγο πιο προσωπικά playlists που μπορεί να μην έχουν εμπορική αξία αλλά συναισθηματική...

SIGRID - STRANGERS (JONAS BLUE REMIX)

Είναι ήδη από τα πιο αδικημένα singles της χρονιάς αφού οι προοπτικές του ήταν για πολύ ψηλότερα ειδικά μάλιστα από την στιγμή που η Sigrid κέρδισε το BBC sound of the year τίτλο. Το μόνο σίγουρο πάντως είναι πως θα ακούσουμε πολύ περισσότερα πράγματα από το συγκεκριμένο κορίτσι και η πορεία της θα είναι ανοδική μέσα στο 2018. Και επειδή το "Strangers" μπορεί να έχει και την χορευτική διάθεση το remix του Jonas Blue είναι ότι πρέπει για αυτό αλλά και για τα ραδιόφωνα που θέλουν αυτή την extra dance pop γεύση...

SIGRID - STRANGERS (R3HAB REMIX)

Φρέσκο πρόσωπο η Sigrid από την Νορβηγία η οποία αναμένεται το αμέσως επόμενο χρονικό διάστημα να κάνει επιτυχία στην Βρετανία με το "Strangers". Και γιατί να μην κάνει αφού τόσο το ατμοσφαιρικό original όσο και η χορευτική έκδοση από τον R3hab είναι πολύ όμορφη pop από αυτή που θα ήθελα περισσότερο να κυριαρχεί στα charts. Προσέξτε λοιπόν την νεαρή και για το μέλλον...
