LISA, ANITTA & REMA - GOALS

As if the Shakira and Burna Boy single for the Fifa World Cup wasn't enough another one emerged today with a highlight collaboration between Lisa, Anitta and Rema. This new collaboration brings together three completely different musical worlds, creating a project that doesn't necessary mean it's good enough to score "Goals" both in the field or the audience. This song may be used for some highlights from the world cup but apart from that this is a highlight addition in names for the upcoming album. Not scoring unfortunately...

AYRA STARR ft REMA - WHO'S DAT GIRL

I hate to say it but "All I Want For Christmas", "Last Christmas" and all the rest seasonal classics have already appeared in the streaming services keeping new music out of sight but not in this blog. For as long there is new music out there i ll keep "X-Mas" away as much as i can.

The Nigerian superstars Ayra Starr and Rema evoke the sensual and colorful on their first ever collaboration for "Who's Dat Girl" which is making some waves under the radar so far. "Who’s Dat Girl" is a hip-swaggering dancehall heater and it delivers everything fans hoped for chemistry, charisma, and a sound that’s both futuristic and deeply rooted in Afro-R&B groove. What does it take to be lifted from bubbling under? Well you already know how it works...

REMA - BABY (IS IT A CRIME)

How you can not be captivated when you hear Sade's 1985 timeless classic "Is It A Crime" even as a sample on a new release. It makes it automatically a no skip listen especially when it blends with Rema's African vibes.Grammy nominated Rema may not had a big chart topper last year with songs fro the "Heis" album but this one is announcing that the next album may contain some more bliss and maybe a hit by the Nigerian artist. The Afrobeats superstar thrills once again and makes it one of the most interesting new releases this week.

CLEAN BANDIT & FRENCH THE KID ft REMA - SAD GIRLS

A closer look at the Uk charts says that "B.O.T.A" is going to spend a second week at number one with David Guetta & Bebe Rexha closing in to steal next week the top spot unless...the queen is dead....Few years back Clean Bandit would have easily claim a top 10 hit but it seems their days are long gone. However they continue to make dance pop music and this time they collaborate with French The Kid using the higly rising African artist Rema for some vocal part.Don't forget that "Calm Down" hasn't charted yet at the Uk charts and when it does it will drag also "Sad Girls".I don't feel enthousiastic about this release cause it's not something special that will change the course of music.Ok it doesn't bother me to playlist it but my first impression is this take it or leave it..

FKA TWIGS ft REMA - JEALOUSY

FKA Twigs has already released multiple singles from her brand new album. And i ll say it again that "Caprisongs" is the first great album of the year that needs to be storaged. If you like "Woman" by Doja Cat then you will love "Jealousy" together with Rema. All it takes is a big hit to lift off the success of this multitalented artist and it will be a shame if this song gets overlooked. Big support from me to this album (not that it matters) and on repeat....
