FUTURE ft DRAKE & TEMS - WAIT FOR U

 This week in streaming it was all about the new album by Future "I Never Liked You". Almost every track from the album was at the top 10 of streaming in both sides of the Atlantic making this release the hottest one around. The fact that rappers have the privilege to gain huge streaming amounts making their songs top the charts is not a strange thing even though i don't agree. Especially "Wait For U" from this album gained so much hype that entered the Uk Top 10 in a flash and probably will do the same in the USA but where will it be next week? Drake and Tems are featured on the song as long as the Game Of Thrones alike video. Chart positions and numbers are just numbers but staying in time is another thing...

DRAKE ft FUTURE & YOUNG THUG - WAY 2 SEXY

 Next week's Billboard chart will be dominated by way too many Drake songs from his new album. I guess some kind of record will be broken again even though the Canadian rapper has already the most songs in the Hot 100 from any other artist in the history of music. Most likely "Way 2 Sexy" is going to be number one and not because it's selling but because it's streaming like all the others from "Certified Lover Boy". The humoristic video for the song and the fact that is based on Right Said Fred's "I M Too Sexy" from the past made it distinguish for now.

CHRIS BROWN & YOUNG THUG ft FUTURE, LIL DURK & MULATTO - GO CRAZY (REMIX)

 Τελικά ο Lil Tjay δεν κατάφερε την τελευταία στιγμή να γκρεμίσει την Olivia Rodrigo από την κορυφή του Βρετανικού charts και αυτό γιατί παρ όλα τα τρελά streamings του "Calling My Phone" στις πωλήσεις οι επιδόσεις του δεν ήταν ανάλογες. Δεν ξέρω αν την επόμενη εβδομάδα θα έχει αυτή την ευκαιρία στην Βρετανία γιατί έχουμε και άλλους διεκδικητές. Και στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες όμως θα ντεμπουτάρει πολύ ψηλά με το νούμερο 2 να είναι το πιο πιθανό αλλά δεν αποκλείεται και το νούμερο 1 τελευταία στιγμή και πάλι.

Πάντως η επιτυχία μετριέται πλέον με την διάρκεια και όχι τι κάνει ένα τραγούδι με την πρώτη εβδομάδα της κυκλοφορίας του. Και το "Go Crazy" του Chris Brown είναι πραγματικά η πρώτη πολύ μεγάλη του επιτυχία από τον καιρό του περιστατικού με την Rihanna όπου κόντεψε να καταστραφεί. Το τραγούδι κυκλοφορεί πλέον και στην remix έκδοση του με την προσθήκη όλων αυτών με σκοπό να διατηρήσει το ήδη πολύ υψηλό airplay του και τις πωλήσεις του. Είναι μεγάλη η επιτυχία του Chris Brown στην Αμερική...

FUTURE & DRAKE - LIFE IS GOOD

H ζωή είναι ωραία με όλα τα απρόβλεπτα και τις δυσκολίες της. Έτσι πρέπει να την βλέπουμε ακόμα και όταν υπάρχει το πέπλο της κατάθλιψης. Η συνεργασία του Future με τον Drake σε αυτό το τραγούδι το οποίο δεν είναι ένα αλλά δύο ουσιαστικά είναι υποψήφιο για το νούμερο 1 στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες σε μία μονομαχία με τον Justin Bieber και το "Yummy" αλλά και την Tones And I που έρχεται. Το πρώτο μέρος από το "Life Is Good" που ανήκει στον Drake είναι το καλό ενώ το δεύτερο μέρος του Future είναι απλά υποφερτό. Αυτό το δύο σε ένα είναι πρωτότυπο αλλά πως το βαθμολογώ με μέσο όρο;;;

FKA TWIGS ft FUTURE - HOLY TERRAIN

Ώρα να παίξουμε μπάλα στο τεραίν της FKA Twigs. Με τους δικούς της όρους που δεν συμβαδίζουν με την κανονικότητα του mainstream και φυσικά είναι για ακροατές όχι εύκολης αισθητικής. Το νέο της album είναι προ των πυλών και το "Holy Terrain" είναι το δεύτερο single που αποτελεί προπομπό του. Me Skrillex στην σύνθεση και τον Future να βοηθάει είναι μία μουσική πρόταση που προτείνω χωρίς πολλές κουβέντες...

Δεν ξέρω τι άκρες έχει για να μαζεύει όλους αυτούς κάθε φορά στα singles του αλλά ο τύπος φαίνεται να έχει ψώνιο με αυτό που κάνει όπως και με τον γιο του τον οποίο περιφέρει σε κάθε του εξώφυλλο. Σε λίγο καιρό θα κυκλοφορήσει νέο album το οποίο θα έχει τον τίτλο "Father Of Ashad" και το πρωτο single σαν συνεργασίες είναι εντυπωσιακό με όλους αυτούς που βλέπεις. Σαν άκουσμα τώρα είναι αρκετά δευτερεύον και δεν βλέπω να έχει την pop απήχηση του "Whild Thoughts" πχ αλλά που φαντάζομαι πως όλο και καποιο τέτοι θα ακούσουμε μέχρι το καλοκαίρι...

Την Tinashe την θεωρώ από το ξεκίνημα της πολύ αξιόλογη και πολύ καλύτερη από πολλές άλλες στο είδος της. Απορώ που δεν έχει κάνει το μπαμ μέχρι τώρα και η μουσική βιομηχανία της το χρωστάει. Δεν είναι ή πρώτη φορά που συνεργάζεται με τον Future μια και το είχε κάνει και στο πρώτο της album και το "Faded Love" είναι ένα sexy Rnb που αξίζει τον κόπο να δονήσει τα ηχεία σας...

MC FIOTI, FUTURE, J BALVIN, STEFFLON DON, JUAN MAGAN - BUM BUM TAM TAM

Με μισό δισεκατομμύριο views στο You Tube από πέρυσι μέχρι σήμερα δεν μπορεί να αγνοήσει κανείς στην μουσική βιομηχανία την δυνατότητα που έχει το "Bum Bum Tam Tam" του Βραζιλιάνου MC Fioti να κατακτήσει τα charts του πλανήτη με ένα πολύ ιδιαίτερο anthem που είτε το μισείς είτε σου κολλάει σαν βδέλλα. Και πως μπορεί κανείς να το αναβαθμίσει να το ξαναζεστάνει και να το σερβίρει σαν υποψήφιο mega hit; Μα βάζοντας μερικά από τα μεγαλύτερα ονόματα να σιγοντάρουν τα οποία τα διαβάζεις πιο πάνω και μην σου φανεί καθόλου παράξενο αν μέχρι το καλοκαίρι ακούγεται αυτό εδώ παντού. Πάντως η ιδέα φλάουτο, τουμπερλέκι και rap είναι από μόνη της εκκεντρική που μπορεί ακόμα και να λειτουργήσει μαζικά...

TAYLOR SWIFT ft ED SHEERAN & FUTURE - END GAME

Οι δυο τους είναι φιλαράκια εδώ και καιρό και δεν θα μπορούσε να μην της γράψει ένα τραγούδι για το νέο της album. Το "End Game" στο οποίο συμμετέχει και ο Future θα είναι από τις πρωτες επιτυχίες του 2018 αφού οδεύει ολοταχώς για το Top 10 του Billboard. Πολύ σύντομα θα κυκλοφορήσει και το video για το τραγούδι το οποίο θα του κάνει το απαραίτητο boost για να γίνει ευρύτερα γνωστό.
Έχω προβλέψει πως το "Perfect" του Ed Sheeran θα είναι το χριστουγεννιάτικο νούμερο 1 στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες ενώ στην Μεγάλη Βρετανία οι πιθανότητες αυξήθηκαν μετά την duet version με την Beyonce. Στα νέα hits της νέας χρονιάς  περιμένω το νέο της Cabello να δούμε τι είναι ενώ από τα υπάρχοντα στην Αμερική το ντουέτο G-Eazy και Halsey φαίνεται να διεκδικεί θέση στο βάθρο όπως και το "Meant To Be" της Bebe Rexha αλλά και το "Bad At Love" της Halsey...σκέτη!!!

TY DOLLA SIGN & FUTURE ft KIIARA - DARKSIDE

Αν και ψυχανεμίζομαι πως αυτό το post apocalyptic film όπου άνθρωποι και orks ζούνε μαζί στον πλανήτη γη με πρωταγωνιστή τον Will Smith θα είναι μία τεράστια μπούρδα ωστόσο το OST της ταινίας τουλάχιστον από ονόματα σκίζει. Θα δείτε και άλλα τραγούδια από αυτή την ταινία στο blog στο μέλλον αλλά για αρχή νομίζω πως αυτή η συνεργασία TY Dolla Sign, Future και Kiiara τα σπάει και είναι ένα τραγούδι που θα γίνει επιτυχία τις επόμενες εβδομάδες πρωτα στην Αμερική και μετά στην Ευρώπη. Το "Darkside" δένει αρμονικά το hook της Kiiara με το future rap των παιδιών. Από τα καλύτερα του είδους που άκουσα τους τελευταίους μήνες..
