The official beginning of Madonna's latest chapter with the launch of a major Dolce & Gabbana advertising campaign for The One fragrance is here and if that doesn't excites fans and the world of music then i don't know what does. She's recorded a song specifically for the commercial, and she's singing it entirely in Italian. No, we're not talking about the first single from her upcoming dance album, but the wait for that is almost over too.The song is a cover of Patty Pravo's iconic "La Bambola" one of the most celebrated hits in Italian pop history. Released in 1968, "La Bambola" became a feminist anthem during a transformative period in Italian society, challenging traditional gender roles and female objectification at a time when women's liberation movements were gaining momentum across Europe. Madonna's choice to reinterpret this particular song feels especially significant given her own decades-long advocacy for female empowerment and sexual liberation. This is one of the very few times Madonna is making a cover version and the first in her heritage language. If i m not mistaken her "Santa Baby" cover for "A Very Special Christmas" ,"American Pie" by Don McLean along with the songs from "Evita" and "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" are some of the few she recorded in her long career. We are ready for the queen anyway and always.
