Lorde's return with her first single from her upcoming new album "Virgin" wasn't exactly a chart hit as it was expected although it has the sound of alt-dance-pop that youngsters like at this point.This time she returns with a personal second single that comes from "very deep inside her."The track touches, almost in a whisper, on gender identity. She wrote "Man of the Year" during a period where she had stopped taking birth control, been diagnosed with premenstrual dysphoric disorder and was exploring her gender identity.This is so personal that few can relate to apart from critics that will praise it.
