TEXAS & SPOONER OLDHAM - WOULD I LIE TO YOU

 Texas are releasing their first ever joint album and that is with the legendary pianist and songwriter Spooner Oldham recorded in Muscle Shoals studios in Alabama.It features 12 of their greatest hits, and two covers ("Would I Lie To You" by Charles and Eddie and "Save The Last Dance" by The Drifters) reimagined and laid bare. Stripped back to their bare bones.Now "Would I Lie To You" is a beloved anthem from the 90's by the American duo Charles & Eddie released in 1992 and their only really big hit that never went away from my dna and my mind ever since.This piano version may not be as good as the original but still shines by Sharleen Spiteri's voice...

TEXAS - AFTER ALL

 Lifted from "The Very Best Of 1989-2023" this the first of the two new songs Texas will provide along with their hits.Not bad for former hairdresser Sharleen Spiteri frontwoman of Texas who left iconic songs like "I Don't Want A Lover","Summer Son" and "Inner Smile" among others as their legacy in music.Their greatest hits will be released on June 16 and "After All" stands as a trademark of their music all these years.Get into their music trip throughout all these years.

TEXAS - UNBELIEVABLE

 Everybody has memories of past X-mas mostly good ones that we hold on everytime we think of people we love. TEXAS - MR HAZE (GBX & PAUL KEENAN REMIX)

 They are straight out of another music world back in the 80's and it's not very easy to get in touch with the young people that listens to rap or other stuff. Still the return of Texas made us happy us the older and their music sounds still fresh and untouched by time. In order to make their music more appealing to young people this remix of Mr Haze doesn't make the original better but it can spread the word.

TEXAS - YOU CAN CALL ME

 Texas are saying "Hi" in their new album and it's really a pitty that their music don't cause so much attention like before.Times has changed yes but i believe there is always room for such beautiful songs like "You Can Call Me". Luckily BBC 2 has this one in heavy rotation and others should too. How often do you hear such intense and straight from the heart songs really. Texas are in a very good shape and something you should put on your playlist...
