 According to the laws of physics where is action there is a reaction and it works both ways depending on which side you are.The "boss" is known for not holding back his political view and his humanitarian values all these decades.What is going on to the world right now will always get people and artists in resisting and protesting in any way they can.Bruce Springsteen as expected didn't stay silent so he recorded and released  "Streets of Minneapolis" as a direct response to what he described as "state terrorism" being practiced in the city of Minneapolis , in response to the ICE operations and the tragic events that accompanied them.According to his statement, Bruce Springsteen wrote the song in just one day, recorded it the next day, and released it immediately.Political songs are not my favourite choice but many people throughout the decades embraced them as a statement.The reaction to this song is making it the most downloaded song the past 24 hours...

"Blind Spot" is a song which explores doubt and betrayal in relationships.Strangely Springsteen decided to put aside this track but released it as a single 30 years later this week.And we couldn't be more delighted from this hidden gem for so long.

 This is a song i love very much by The Commodores.It was released back in 1985 and went number one in the USA marking their last number one by the group.The boss decided to be part of his new album "Only The Strong Survive" full of soul covers like this one. After "Do I Love You (Indeed I Do) some days ago this one is the one i was expecting the most and i m not dissapointed. The song is a tribute to Marvin Gaye and Jackie Wilson if you listen to the lyrics and Bruce's voice not only respects the iconic original but it gives it a bossy glory...

JOHN MELLENCAMP ft BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - WASTED DAYS

 Both are legends, both had huge hits back in the 80's, both shaped big time American rock pop music and it's a great deal that John Mellencamp is still musically active. Song like "Jack And Diane" or "Paper In Fire" have leaved their mark on my dna. TOM MORELLO ft BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & EDDIE VEDDER - HIGHWAY TO HELL

 Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello made something here that needs to be announced by the blog. He recruited two legends like Bruce Springsteen and Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder to record a tribute version to one of the greatest rock tracks of all time. AC DC's "Highway To Hell"" is not only a classic but it can be recognized almost by anybody except maybe by some lost tribes in the Amazon. It doesn't matter here the streaming or the position in the charts since we have so many legendary names in one classic recording by the touch of Tom Morello. It can be found in his new album "The Atlas Underground Fire" to be released in the middle of October...

THE KILLERS & BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - DUSTLAND

Και να ήθελα να το αποφύγω στο blog δεν θα μπορούσα. Ο μαθητής Brandon Flowers και ο δάσκαλος Bruce Springsteen κάνουν μία αρκετά θορυβώδη συνεργασία σε ένα τραγούδι των The Killers από το 2008 το οποίο μετονομάστηκε σε "Dustland" (σκέτο) και ο οποίο έχει την ανάλογη υποδοχή τις πρώτες μέρες κυκλοφορίας του αλλά που αφορά συγκεκριμένο κοινό μάλλον περιορισμένης χρονικής διάρκειας.Να πω την αμαρτία μου δεν μπόρεσα να συνδεθώ με το τραγούδι όσο και αν το προσπάθησα συγνώμη..

 Το αφεντικό μπορεί να είναι μόνο ένα και το 20στο album της καριέρας του είναι γεγονός. Με το ομώνυμο τραγούδι του album ως πρώτο single και την  E Street Band σε πλήρη σύνθεση να παίζει τα όργανα το τραγούδι είναι ένα κλασικό Bruce Springsteen anthem. Η Αμερικάνικη rock είναι συμπυκνωμένη σε αυτό το πρόσωπο που δεν έχει ανάγκη από περιστασιακά hits και με το κοινό του να είναι τεράστιο σε ολόκληρο τον πλανήτη..

Δεύτερο δείγμα από την νέα δουλειά του boss με έντονες επιρροές αυτή την φορά από Roy Orbinson. To "There Goes My Miracle" μέσα από το "Western Stars" είναι ένα old fashion anthem από αυτά που κυλάνε στο αίμα του Bruce Springsteen ο οποίος ποτέ δεν πρόδωσε τις καταβολές του και γι αυτό είναι αυτό που είναι σήμερα. Ωρα να μπολιάσουμε τα αυτιά μας με κάτι διαφορετικό αφού ένας από τους σκοπούς του blog είναι και αυτός. Χρειαζόμαστε όλοι ένα μέτρο σύγκρισης...

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - HELLO SUNSHINE

O Bruce Springsteen είναι ένα τεράστιο κεφάλαιο της rock μουσικής την οποία την έχει εμπλουτίσει με το Αμερικάνικο στοιχείο το οποίο έχει πολλές προεκτάσεις. Φυσικά μέσα του υπάρχει έντονο και το country στοιχείο. Αν κρίνω από τον τίτλο του νέο του album "Western Stars" αλλά και από το πρώτο single "Hello Sunshine" θα έχουμε να κάνουμε με έναν country album το οποίο θα τύχει ευρείας αποδοχής κυρίως στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες αλλά ας μην ξεχνάμε πως ο boss είναι ο boss.
