If songs and artists from the 80's have so much impact today then you can imagine what it was like living in the decade where music was in an orgy of creativity. The impact "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush has these days due to "Stranger Things 4" is only a tiny fragment of the phenomenon. This only one reason why i keep on refering to songs and artists from that decade.
Bryan Ferry was one of those names and he is ready to kick off the 50th Roxy Music anniversary tour which is one last chance to feel part of this decade. Before that he released an Ep called "Love Letters" covering some great forgotten songs like this one. "Fooled Around And Fell In Love" was an Elvis Bishop number one hit in 1976 right when Roxy Music began their musical journey. This haunting cover by Ferry has no agenda no gender and reflects why Bryan is considered a crooner in pop music.
