There are few covers that can blow your mind. Speaking for myself i can only think of a dozen after 50 years listening to music. Today is the day that a human person called David Bay does the unthinkable. He injected the Joy Division classic with disco and indie funk in a brilliant way that makes this cover the top cover of the year for me. The result has the approval by Joy Division themselves and that says something.It takes a moment to do the unthinkable in a such a brilliant way and David Bay deserves my respect for that. I only hope he has more like this coming cause it blew my mind...
