BILLIE EILISH - CHIHIRO

 Since all afternoon i ve been hearing Billie Eilish's brand new album i can tell you one thing.It's her best so far."Hit Me Hard And Soft" is exactly that full of up and down melodies electronic and really innovating.There is no skip on this album and all of the songs are potential singles."Chihiro" is the song that Billie Eilish has been teasing for some days now so i guess this will be the primary single.And if you are curious what "Chihiro" stands for the i will tell you that it's the ten-year-old core protagonist of the Japanese animated film "Spirited Away".This is probably the best album of the year so far and Eilish proves that she is way ahead.

MILEY CYRUS - PSYCHO KILLER

 We have already heard a couple of songs from the Talking Heads tribute album "Stop Making Sense" but when it comes to Miley Cyrus making a cover to the super classic "Psycho Killer" then the interest increases.Cyrus and Byrne have some history since the pair connected onstage during Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, celebrating the start of 2023. During the show, the duo performed David Bowie’s "Let’s Dance" and Byrne’s own "Everybody’s Coming To My House".This redition of "Psycho Killer" it's not a pure cover since Miley changed a lot from the main melody keeping the basic basslines but the song sounds pretty different.I m not sure that i m ok with that but i have to respect this artistic approach.

 Jack Savoretti is outselling the songs from his upcoming "Miss Italia" album by releasing them one by one."Non Ho Capito Niente" is the latest offering from the album and Jack's outstanding performance is once again on full display.No matter on what language Savoretti sings his songs the intimacy is there and the choice on listening to his songs guaranties the quality for an audio pleasure.In a couple of days the album will be in our hands and Jack forever in our hearts.

 As we are getting closer and closer to summer the African vibes are calling us to spend another summer under our umbrella and cool in the sea.Nigerian Tems is going to release her debut album "Born In The Wild" in a few days and "Love Me Jeje" serves as the first single.The song pays tribute to Seyi Sodimu, who released a song of the same title in 1997 and it's currently trending in the Uk chart.Tems has a bright future ahead in music bringing her beautiful vocals with songs like that.

 While we are waiting their brand new single "Kind Of Man" this Friday we are still enjoying "House" their first single from their upcoming album "The Greatest Love".And while we do that Solomun has given us another stellar remix as he puts his touch on London Grammar’s first single "House".When his name is attached to a track, you know you are in for a treatand this remix is a beautiful take that incorporates several ear-catching elements. It is a true work of art in the Solomun discography.

 Charli continues to give reasons to buy her brand new album "Brat"."360" is the latest from that album, following "Von Dutch". "Club Classics", and "B2B" while the album arrives on June 7.Charli XCX has enlisted an all-star cast of internet celebrities in the very meta video for her new song including Julia Fox, Rachel Sennott, Hari Nef, Gabbriette, Alex Consani, and Emma Chamberlain.Although i like Charli this one sounds a lot that the electronic pop of our era therefore nothing new here.

 I m willing to "Testify" that Kaleena Zander's vocals on the brand new Solardo track are big.Back in the late 80s early 90s vocals like that were found only on the Black Box singles and Kaleena links to this technic in a big way.Solardo are a huge dance duo producing great tracks that need more attention from the charts but they do have the attention of djs around the world.I really dope this one...

SLIMANE - MON AMOUR (DIPAP REMIX)

 Now that the Eurovision contest is over there is room for some critic.First of all Nemo had a unique presence but it wasn't the best song in my opinion.And you will see that in the next weeks what will finally prevail on the charts and on streaming services.The contest this year was rather controvercial due to political reasons and the incident with the Netherlands artist Joost.The best songs were the Ukranian entry and this one by France.What will be played most on the radios? Probably Joost and the Austrian entry.Winning the contest and get a credit for it is one thing and having a commercial acceptance is another.What stays in mind usually is not what won like Loreen did twice in the past.

Greek dj Dipap made this unofficial remix on Slimane's fabolous "Mon Amour" and maybe the artist should consider making it official.Either the original version or this one is a keeper.

MACKLEMORE - HIND'S HALL

 Remember him?Well Macklemore is back with a political song a protest for Gaza called "Hind's Hall".I will take back what i said about what music should be cause it can also be weaponized in certain issues.My only arguement is that it chooses issues for instance i haven't seen any protests or songs for Ukraine or what's happening in other parts of the world.Macklemore’s blistering anthem takes aim at Israel’s brutal assault on Gaza and it comes at a time when student protests around the USA are pushing the conflict and America’s role in it to the forefront of cultural debate.Though Macklemore doesn’t have the reputation for political activism that other artists have, it’s not for lack of trying and a nice way to comeback to the music industry.This bold music-political stand is currently trending and selling.Antisemitism is trending while everybody seemed to forgot what happened few months back in Israel.

STRAY KIDS ft CHARLIE PUTH - LOSE MY BREATH

 The need for BTS in the music industry have created a tons of boy and girl groups in Korea with anime-like appearence dancing and singing trying to replace the space they have left.Stray Kids are an example of this mimic-trending boy bands trying to built a career that's why they teamed up with Charlie Puth for their brand new release "Lose My Breath".There is a big controversy over this release cause Charlie Puth is considered Zionist and rape apologist and i m very surprised it was released finally.Let's leave politics out of this conversation cause music unites and let's stick to the fact that there is nothing impressive here unless you are a fan.

POST MALONE ft MORGAN WALLEN - I HAD SOME HELP

 

If  Post Malone needed some help for his country era then he found the right one on the face of country superstar Morgan Wallen."I Had Some Help" serves as the first preview of Post Malone’s first-ever full-length country album, which will be out later this year.Now with country music at it's best era there's no need to wonder if this one is going to be all over the charts but this factor is different on whether you like it or not.I think i like it although i m not a huge country fan but i definitely like that Malone guy.

REN - TROUBLES

 A song from Brighton rapper Ren makes huge waves the last few hours since it's all about ME/CFS and Lyme disease (google it to find out) but the interesting thing is that "Troubles" samples "Natural Blues" by Moby in a very interesting way.Is this a shooting star that will remain only for a few days as many songs do or is it something more?Compering it with other rap releases this is one i really like not only as a message but the way Ren build it up.It could easily become a hit depending on the response by the media and the streaming platforms.Thumps up for "Troubles"...

 This Summer, the world's favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your seat action and outrageous comedy but this time with a twist: Miami's finest are now on the run!!!"Ride Or Die" ost will host many names among them this collab between BEP and Karol G along with El AlFa.And if you are wondering what the Black Eyed Peas used as the base for this new release then Genesi's "Tonight Tonight Tonight" the single from 1986 "Invisible Touch" is the answer.I don't know if this is the best way using that kind of tracks but sometimes it works.Really not impressed...
