WILL YOUNG - CRYING ON THE BATHROOM FLOOR

 Will Young will release his new album early August and it will contain covers of his favourite songs. Untill now we heard 2 songs from this album and it's time for a third one. The title track of the album is a cover of Muna's song and his new single.I guess it's for adult audiences mostly and in every way a song worth listening to. So don't judje what to hear by it's chart position. Like i always say the view is in the underground floors believe it or not..

 Στις αρχές της νέας χιλιετίας και με τα talent shows στα ντουζένια τους ο Will Young είχε ένα σερί από μεγάλες επιτυχίες στην Βρετανία οι οποίες δεν έχουν ξεχαστεί αλλά ούτε και το όνομα του. Άλλωστε ο Will Young δεν είναι η Madonna ούτε ήταν ποτέ αλλά έας τραγουδιστής ο οποίος συνειδητά έκανε πάντοτε αξιόλογη pop. To νέο του τραγούδι μέσα από το album που θα κυκλοφορήσει στις αρχές Αυγούστου είναι ένα pop gem και τόσο radio friendly που θα αγαπηθεί σχεδόν ακαριαία. Άλλωστε κάτι τέτοια τραγούδια έχουν αυτή την ιδιαότητα. Το "Crying On The Bathroom Floor" θα κυκλοφορήσει αρχές Αυγούστου και θα περιλαμβάνει και το "Daniel".

O Will Young ήταν κάποτε ότι και ο Sam Smith σήμερα στην Βρετανία. Και πόσο κρίμα ένα τόσο όμορφο για τα δεδομένα της pop album όπως το "Lexicon" να μην έχει hit singles. To οποίο όμως εξακολουθεί να βγάζει τραγούδια όπως το "Ground Running" και να ικανοποιεί τα αυτιά μου σε αυτό που είναι και το βασικό θέμα ενασχόλησης μου με την μουσική. Ωραία mainstream τραγούδια που μπορείς να ακούς συνέχεια ξανά και ξανά...

Είμαι σίγουρος πως αν βρισκόταν αυτό το τραγούδι μέσα στο νέο album της Madonna ή του Will Smith όλοι θα έλεγαν τι κομματάρα είναι αυτή και τα σχετικά. Έχω γράψει όμως στο blog για το "My Love" single του Will Young και σας έχω πει πως είναι από τα καλύτερα pop singles του μήνα. Και επειδή πάντοτε ένα remix είναι χρήσιμο για τους djs ειδικά μάλιστα αν είναι και καλό για βάλτε το δυνατά αυτό εδώ...

Αν ήμασταν 20 χρόνια πίσω τότε που ο Will Young ήταν στα ντουζένια του και οτιδήποτε κυκλοφορούσε γινόταν επιτυχία στην Βρετανία θα μιλούσαμε τώρα για σίγουρο hit. Επειδή όμως οι pop stars είναι ως επί το πλείστον περιορισμένης χρονικής διάρκειας το δεύτερο single του Will Young μέσα από το "Lexicon" album του ελάχιστοι θα προσέξουν αν και είναι πολύ καλύτερο από πολλά που κάνουν ήδη επιτυχία. O Will Young ήταν από τους πρώτους που γεύτηκαν την επιτυχία που μπορεί να προσφέρει ένα μουσικό talent show. Έκανε αρκετές επιτυχίες τότε ειδικά στην Βρετανία γνώρισε την καμπή αλλά παραμένει στα μουσικά πράγματα. Επιστρέφει με νέο album το "Lexicon" το οποίο έχει σαν πρώτο single το συμπαθητικό "All The Songs" που φιλοδοξεί να κερδίσει μία θέση στο playlist των pop μουσικόφιλων. Θα τα καταφέρει;;;
