 There are some huge dance anthems that will be played this summer everywhere and both Zerb's productions are among them."Addicted" got the Joel Corry treatment speading up things to a rave mode which is going to be the trending dance sound this year.Both "Mwaki" and "Addicted" should have been huge chart hits but you know how things work in the streaming days.Expect some more remixes on this one pretty soon but for now djs are going to weaponize this one.

 I m addicted to Eurovision song contest not because this is the best place to find good music but because it's a party and fun to watch.As most of the times not the best song wins so being this year's the Croatia entry Holland's and Switzerland's the top 3 rating to win the contest finds me totally against for the trophy.Today is the first semifinal so i want to see the outfits and the performances in order to get a better opinion.

But in case you want a better opinion about the "Addicted" collab between Zerb, The Chainsmokers and Ink then Joel Corry has the first released remix to make your summer more sweaty.This version fits the rave renaissance that is taking over once more dance music.

THE CHAINSMOKERS & BOB MOSES - WHY CAN'T YOU WAIT

 Looking at the charts it was certain that Drake won't keep the top spot at the USA. This is the streaming factor that creates instant hits and false records usually for rap artists.So Harry Styles returned to his Billboard throne while Beyonce makes her first top 10 hit in 11 years. In the Uk a battle for the number one between Kate Bush and LF System looks like it leans to "Afraid To Feel" but the release of the last episodes of "Stranger Things" this weekend might change the odds. And not only that but the remix to Journey's "Seperate Ways" seems to creates massive waves so many weeks after you found it first on Sound Fist. David Guetta and Nathan Dawe will enter the Uk top 10 next week and it was about damn time.

Now Chainsmokers added some new songs in their newest album and one of them is this collab with Bob Moses."Why Can't You Wait" has the Bob Moses influence that makes Chainsmoker's sound a little bit more interesting.

THE CHAINSMOKERS - HIGH

 After an extended hiatus that needed The Chainsmokers are back with a brand new single that comes out from a new album to be released later this year. The 2 years absence comes after the downfall in their previous releases and hopefully will do them good. "High" will go for an immidiate radio play in the USA and has the sound that sells right now from other artists like The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber.. After very few repeats it's too early for me to have an honest opinion but my sense it says that a top 10 position in many countries is about to happen.

WILLOW & TYLER COLE - MEET ME AT OUR SPOT (THE CHAINSMOKERS REMIX)

 Too bad this song never made it to the highest positions of the charts. Ramaining for so long inside the Top 100 in the USA shows that this song is not for a short period of time instead of other expiring hits. On the other hand the Chaismokers are returning sooner than you think with a brand new single with The Kid Laroi on vocals. This remix by them is a kind of a hype that might help also "Meet Me At Our Spot" for a better perfomance...

THE CHAINSMOKERS ft AMY SHARK - THE REAPER

To νέο album των The Chainsmokers κυκλοφόρησε πριν μερικές μέρες και έχει τον τίτλο "World War Joy". Φυσικά και έχει πάρα πολλές συνεργασίες μέσα όπως αυτή με τον Kygo η οποία είναι σχετικά αδιάφορη σαν ήχος. Σχεδόν όλα τα τραγούδια του album κυκλοφόρησαν σαν singles και όποιο πιάσει. Ο ήχος των Chainsmokers είναι σχετικά προβλέψιμος υπάρχουν όμως και κάποιες αναλαμπές που λες ότι μπορεί τελικά να έχουν και κάτι κρυμμένο μέσα τους. Μία τέτοια είναι η συνεργασία τους με την Amy Shark για το "The Reaper" το οποίο ίσως να είναι και το καλύτερο τραγούδι του album. Μακάρι να γνωρίσει την επιτυχία με την νέα χρονιά. Αξίζει τον κόπο...

THE CHAINSMOKERS & ILLENIUM ft LENNON STELLA - TAKEAWAY

Η μουσική των The Chainsmokers έχει ένα trademark το οποίο τους βοήθησε αρχικά στην μεγάλη επιτυχία αλλά η επανάληψη της έχει γίνει κουραστική και μάλλον αυτός είναι και ο λόγος που ήρθε και η πτώση. Εδώ μπολιάζονται με τους ήχους του Illenium και με τα εξαιρετικά φωνητικά της Lennon Stella για το "Takeaway" το οποίο είναι μάλλον από τα καλύτερα που δημιούργησαν μετά την καθίζηση. Αυτός είναι και ο λόγος που επανέρχονται στο blog μου μετά από καιρό...

THE CHAINSMOKERS & 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER - WHO DO YOU LOVE

Οι Chainsmokers συνεχίζουν να κυκλοφορούν singles και μάλιστα θα έχουν αρκετές συνεργασίες μέσα στο 2019 οι οποίες δεν ξέρω αν θα μεταφραστούν και σε ένα νέο album. Έτσι να περιμένετε singles με τους Blink 182 και τον Juice Wrld ενώ το νέο τους είναι μαζί με τους 5 Seconds Of Summer. Τα φτηνής κατανάλωσης τραγούδια των Chainsmokers έχουν το κοινό τους το οποίο είναι συνήθως οι νεαρές ηλικίες. Το "Who Do You Love" είναι κάτι που το έχω ξανακούσει χιλιάδες φορές και δεν μπορεί να με συγκινήσει άσχετα αν γνωρίσει επιτυχία ή όχι...

THE CHAINSMOKERS ft KELSEA BALLERINI - THIS FEELING

Στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες οι Maroon 5 τελικά κατάφεραν να εκθρονίσουν τον Drake από την κορυφή ενώ το diss του Eminem "Killshot" έκανε την μεγαλύτερη νέα είσοδο κατευθείαν στο νούμερο 3 και είναι το μοναδικό που τους απειλεί άμεσα. Οι 5 Seconds Of Summer που έκαναν τελικά το Top 10 θα έχουν σίγουρα ανοδική πορεία μέσα σε αυτό ενώ το "Natural" των Imagine Dragons θα βρεθεί πολύ σύντομα πολύ ψηλά και αυτό. Μελλοντικά Marshmello με τους Bastille θα κάνουν επιτυχία μετά την Βρετανία και στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες ενώ ψηλά θα βρεθεί και το νέο single της Avril Lavigne το οποίο είχε πάρα πολύ θετική αντίδραση γενικά.
Το αν το νέο των Chainsmokers θα κάνει κάτι παραπάνω από τα προηγούμενα είναι κάτι που θα φανεί σύντομα πάντως είναι συμπαθητικό και από τα καλύτερα τελευταία τους που δεν παύει όμως να κινείται σε ήδη γνωστούς ήχους από αυτούς που είναι και το βασικό αρνητικό τους.

THE CHAINSMOKERS & SELENA GOMEZ - BACK 2 YOU

Έχω την εντύπωση πως οι The Chainsmokers μας τελείωσαν σαν concept σαν ήχος σαν φαινόμενο στα charts παρόλο που τα τελευταία τους singles είναι μερικά πολύ καλύτερα από αυτά που έφτασαν στην κορυφή των charts τα προηγούμενα χρόνια. Και ενώ το "Side Effects" που παρουσίασα πριν μερικές εβδομάδες είναι αυτό που σπρώχνεται ένα νέο single μαζί με την Selena Gomez κάνει την εμφάνιση του για να επιβεβαιώσει τα γραφόμενα. Το "Back 2 You" είναι αρκετά αδιάφορο για να αλλάξει την πορεία των πραγμάτων για αυτούς αν και στην solo version από την Selena για το 13 Reasons Why" ήταν πολύ καλύτερο. Άραγε θα συνεχίσω να ασχολούμαι με αυτούς κι άλλο;;;

THE CHAINSMOKERS ft EMILY WARREN - SIDE EFFECTS

Δεν ξέρω αν η εποχή των The Chainsmokers έχει περάσει ανεπιστρεπτί πάντως χρειαζόντουσαν επειγόντως μια αλλαγή στον ήχο τους την οποία ευτυχώς κάνουν με το πρώτο single τους μέσα από το νέο album που ετοιμάζουν. Το "Side Effects" είναι ένα pop disco anthem το οποίο ευτυχώς λειτουργεί στα δικά μου αυτιά με θετικό τρόπο χωρίς και αυτό να αποτελεί μέρος των single της χρονιάς τα οποία είναι μέχρι στιγμής δυσεύρετα. Είμαι πάντως πολύ περίεργος στο πως θα αντιδράσει η αγορά σε αυτή την αλλαγή για ένα duo που έκανε την επιτυχία και με το παραπάνω..

THE CHAINSMOKERS - EVERYBODY HATES ME

Δεν είναι τυχαίο που τα τραγούδια των The Chainsmokers δεν σκαρφαλώνουν στα charts όπως παλιά. Μπούχτησε ο κόσμος τον ήχο τους τον οποίο μιμήθηκαν πάρα πολλοί έκτοτε προσπαθώντας να βγάλουν λεφτά από αυτόν με όχι ιδιαίτερη επιτυχία. Είχα υποσχεθεί ότι δεν θα βάλω ξανά τραγούδια τους στο blog αν δεν είχαν έστω ένα καλό στοιχείο σε αυτό. Το "Everybody Hates Me" που είναι το νέο τους single αν και δεν ξεφεύγει αν και δεν ξεφεύγει από το trademark τους έχει ένα μελωδικό μέρος που το λες και συμπαθητικό...

THE CHAINSMOKERS - SICK BOY

Οι Chainsmokers επιστρέφουν με νέο single ο 2018 και μετά από πολύ καιρό φωνητικά κάνουν οι ίδιοι και όχι κάποιος guest. Δεν ξέρω αν είναι η δική μου αίσθηση αλλά νομίζω πως ο ήχος τους πολυφορέθηκε και δεν έχει να προσφέρει κάτι παραπάνω σε μία νέα χρονιά που αναζητά είτε κάτι νέο είτε κάτι μεταλλαγμένο που θα πάει τα πράγματα μπροστά. Ως εκ τούτου το "Sick Boy" μπορεί να μην ενοχλεί ακουστικά αλλά φλερτάρει έντονα με τον όρο αδιάφορο τουλάχιστον στα δικά μου αυτιά...
