 If you wanna know how radios works here's the thing. Unless you are a big name in order to get playlisted they watch the views on You Tube the streamings at streaming services and recently the Tik Tok use.If you are not over a million you won't get played no matter how good the song is. Which brings me back to the 80's when none of that were there and the radio had producers and not speakers with a playlist.

"Deep Down" is based on "Street Player" by Chicago as it was used by Kenny Dope for "The Bomb" along with Crystal Water's "Gypsy Woman".Now Never Dull enforced those two songs to release this edit that can only bring back memories.

 For me it remains an obvious dance hit although it had so far a lukewarm reaction at the charts.Do we care? Not really as it makes us feel good whenever we hear "Deep Down". From all the remixes so far this one by Paul Mayson is the one i liked the most.Sometimes it takes a while for some songs to get what they deserve.If not it will be just another one mistreated and overlooked...

 Now this is a bomb!!! It was a bomb back in 1995 when producer Kenny Dope created The Bucketheads making "The Bomb" one of the biggest dance tracks that year and the years to come. Based on the sample by Chicago's "Street Player" from 1979 the track was massive enough to leave a stigma in the dance scene. In 2022 Brazilian super dj Alok takes this idea puts on vocals Ella Eyre adds some more samples from Crystal Water's "Gypsy Woman" and voila "Deep Down" will get you to the center of the earth. What a massive tune, what a dance track, what a summer anthem...
