I don't know if this song is about the breakup with Camila Cabello but if it is it suits Shawn Mendes to write songs after a strong emotional situation. After many releases without any meaning this song might get Shawn Mendes on the right track."When You Are Gone" will give Mendes a presense in the charts how high we ll see as how long it will last on the radios.
